Deli Towne is one of my favorite Delis in Reno. They do a great job of making you forget they are located in a gas station. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and while there is generally a line they are good at what they do so the wait isnt too bad. If you are looking for a great sandwich somewhat late, 8 pm, then this is not the place for you. The hours state 9 pm so we thought we had plenty of time to not be those dicks, the ones that show up right before close and make you undo all the closing procedures youd done when it was super slow because its so close to closing that all you want to is for 9pm to arrive so you can bolt. Yeah, you know youve been on both sides of that situation. Back on track. We arrived at 8 pm and were told they only had white or wheat and werent able to order our first choice sandwich (Meatball). The guy kept telling us what they didnt have and finally named off a few sandwiches he did have. I had the egg salad (bland-really needed salt and pepper, not worth $7 for a small) my friend had a pastrami and really enjoyed it ($10 for a medium is pretty rapey though). This is the first time I have experienced anything other than great food/service in the years I have been going to Deli Towne so they still get 4 stars and I will simply stay away from them during the later evening hours.

Over Rated and Over Priced. I read the recommendations and was astonished to find that the medium sandwich cost over $10, their drinks are over $2, and this is just for an average sandwich. Save your money and go to Port of subs or for the same cost, to buy a good steak, or cooked meal around the corner. Deli Towne doesnt deserve praise if they are going to fork the consumer with such high cost. I asked why such a high price and she said it was a specialty sandwich. It was turkey, hold the cheese on sourdough. $10.00 for a medium sub? Not in this town, and not from a two bit gas stations. I wont be returning to this sandwich shop unless someone reports they finally get their prices in line. Final Verdict.

First off, its going to cost a lot. I drop 12-15 bucks for a medium sandwich with a few extras and a drink. But 15 bucks seems like nothing for a borderline religious experience. Its that good. Ive convinced so many people to come here (most of whom are brought to tears by the relentless assault of glorious flavor within each bite) that I should get some kind of human-advertisement discount. If you get the special bread (any kind), the shakers and throw as much meat, cheese and veggies as you want, youll really know what its like to visit perhaps the greatest gas-station deli/achievement in history.

Normally this is the best deli in reno but today was disapointing. We went for lunch today at 3 ish. 10$ for a medium sandwich normally gets you a serious meat filled yummy bomb. But my wifes turkey had less meat than a subway and my veggie was mostly bread. The older gal making mine cut her glove and i had to stop her from slicing her finger. Poor thing was " not with it" and if shes new then they should re-think her position. Not trying to be mean but yikes.... . We will have to find a new ultimate sandwich in reno.

Just a gas station/mini mart, but its sparkling clean (even the restrooms)...I usually get a small egg salad on homemade Dutch crust bread and feel pleasantly full when im done. Very quick, friendly service & all my specifications (light lettuce, extra olives,& sprouts) are perfectly combined. Costs a little bit more, but theres more to this sandwich, so I need a fork to finish it. Yum!! My treat to myself...and then I run my car thru the carwash out back. Tummy full. Clean car. Yes!!

Hands down my favorite sandwich shop in Reno. Yes, its a wee bit pricey, and yes, its in a gas station, but I have yet to find anything else so simple and delicious. My go-to is the turkey and swiss on cheddar jalapeno bread -it is so damn good it will make you cry. They also have an incredible chip selection (seriously, dont overlook this part, the Voodoo Chips are mind-blowing)! Give it a shot, you wont be sorry!

Sandwiched were pretty good but WAY too expensive. Not what everyone raves about on yelp. $70 for 5 of us to eat with a kids meal and a couple of bottles of water from the gas station. Capriottis is far better and cheaper and much friendlier staff. DeliTowne staff seemed annoyed by everyone they served. No smiles or friendliness by any of the staff. Ive experienced it now... wont go back.

I love deli town. They have amazing sandwiches that blown subway out of the water. They have monthly special creations, along with a huge variety of breads that are made in house, cheeses, freshly sliced meats, and all the regular veggies. My favorite is the grand slam USA, think of Thanksgiving on a sandwich. The price is a little high but its worth it.

Deli Towne is right around the corner from our office (TMJ Therapy and Sleep Center) and we go there at least once or twice a week. They have also done catering for our courses and we are never disappointed! If you are worried about the prices - download the app and get their specials every day. The car wash is also fantastic!!

Deli Towne needs to franchise and come down to the Bay Area. We have a lot of good delis here in Northern California (Bay Area), but none compare to deli towne. I never would have expected a gas station deli to be so phenomenal. We stop in at least 2 times when we are in town and its usually the 1st stop we make!

The sandwich was good but when I went to pay, the cashier Mikkel said my sandwich was too big for a medium and took it back, got out a ruler, and shaved pieces off of both ends. It was weird and although he wasnt rude, he wasnt nice about it either. Reminded me of the soup nazi episode of Seinfield.

They make their own breads daily. The meats & cheeses are excellent quality. Soup comes with fresh loaf ends instead of crackers...delicious. Generous portions, hard to finish hungry. Not cheap, but so worth it! Theres a reason theyve been a local favorite for more than a decade running!

If you want a sub sandwich this is the place to go. The Cuban is amazing. And the size...A medium can easily feed two. Dont be put off by it being in the Chevron this is a great place to eat or get did for a picnic or road trip.

Their food is pretty good, they keep taking more and more choices off the menu the latest is honey ham and raising the prices! Sandwich was $10.99 + $1.75 deli tax PLUS sales tax... so $15 for lettuce, tomato, Turkey and bread!

My favorite sandwich shop in all of Reno. The portions are huge and packed with freshly sliced deli meats and cheeses that are very high quality. They have a great selection of specialty breads for their sandwiches also.
