We ate here for a special occasion a few months ago and it was not a good experience. I believe that every place deserves a second chance and that they need feedback to be most effective with that second chance. With this in mind, I left a comment on the Santa Fe website and was contacted the next day by the Director of F&B named John. He asked me for more details about our poor experience and then asked me to come back on his dime. We returned for another try and it was simply amazing. The food and the service was great from the hostess to the beverages to the server. Since this experience was so good, we decided to give it another try a few weeks later when no one was expecting us. It was amazing again. Jennifer recognized us at the hostess stand and remembered who our previous server was so that we could get him again. The server also remember us, but obviously did not remember our names. His name was Anthony and he remember the drink that my wife loved so much from the previous experience and asked her if she wanted that drink again. Since then, we have returned to Charcoal Room about 20 times and while it is not always perfect, they always try to make it right when something is wrong. I would highly recommend it to everyone and they should ask for Anthony, Kevin, or Ralph for a very special experience.

Food is good, but not incredible. Weve been there a handful of times and its hit and miss. Service is adequate. I made reservations for a party of 10+ and they informed me a gratuity would be included due to our group size, which was no problem. When I received the check she circled the amount of the gratuity and again said it was included. I left $0 on the tip line (because it was to be included) and signed the bill. On our way home, they actually called me to ask if I was leaving a tip because they didnt include it. Not sure if our server made out on that one, but, we will not be returning.

The waiter messed up my order. The salad made me throw up before we even left the restaurant it was terrible. If you order a steak double check to make sure the waiter gets it right. DO NOT! go there an hour before closing time. This is my second time eating there.

Machines are so tight, they squeak. Staff is reduced so far, good luck in getting service. The techs for the most part, dont have a clue. This place has really gone down the tubes over the past 5 years.

They had an exceptional all you can eat Easter buffet. Great king crab legs and oysters half shell with eggs Benedict/crab. Couldnt get past the seafood it was so good.

Arrived at 4:45 no reservation on a Wednesday night, restaurant empty still had to wait until 5:30 for a table . Food was good service adequate.
