Came here for a dinner about two weeks ago. Prior to dining here, I was really excited after reading the online menu and the reviews. I guess I built up too much excitement because in the end I was not all that impressed. For appetizers, we got the Salmon Roll Ups and for the our main dish, my bf and I each got the Blue Cheese Burger. The Salmon Roll Ups was literally salmon with cheese placed on a piece of bread and the burger was okay. We went with a group of friends and I had sampled off their plates, again not impressed. Menu prices were not reasonable when taking in account the quality and quantity. After dinner, we went elsewhere and got more food...It was not an overall bad experience, the atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and our server was nice. I am a big foodie and had more expectations

I love this place! All local ingredients and everything is made in house. Part of their menu is set and part changes based on the season. On the set menu they have a Blue Cheese burger that is to die for! The patty is seasoned well and they actually put enough toppings on ( I hate when restaurants skimp in burger toppings). If you come during Happy hour, the burger is half price! What a deal for grass-fed beef!! And for dessert Id absolutely recommend the Carrot Cupcakes - the cake is moist and has a hint of ginger and the icing is thick and smooth. The seasonal choices are always fun to try - I havent always fallen in love with everything, but you can hit upon some real gems. I personal wasnt much for their Caramel Pecan Ice cream, but the seasonal roasted Root Veggies were amazing! Check it out!

This is our absolute favorite restaurant in the St. Louis area! They have wonderful service and amazing food! I love the healthy options like gluten free, grass fed beef, wild caught fish etc. The pot roast is out of this world, and is a favorite of both my husband and I. The price is incredibly reasonable based on how yummy the food is, and its high quality. We go there quite often and have gotten to know most of the staff, so it feels like family every time we go. I would definitely recommend Big Sky for anyone looking for incredible food and wonderful service.

The building is interesting and just artsy enough to distinguish itself from the surrounding businesses. Its airy and well decorated. The food however, bounces angrily back and forth between too spicy and too bland. I hesitate to write overly broad descriptions but I was here with a party of eight other people and we all agreed, so, unless it was an instance of "groupthink" I suggest a trip to another establishment that goes a tad easier on the spices. Unless, of course, you enjoy spicy -- in that case enjoy!

I have had nothing but excellent service the two times I have been to Big Sky, I love the farm to table concept. The Dry rubbed pork chop and Pot roast are amazing and so is the trout. I attended with a party of 7 and we split 2 orders macaroni and cheese for an appetizer and all 7 of us said it was the most amazing macaroni and cheese we had ever had. Soups and salads are scrumptious too.

We were very impressed by the food and service. There seemed to be confusion on who was are server as we waited extra few minutes before being seen. They were extremely apologetic and made up to us with a complimentary appetizer and dessert. Above and beyond in our opinion. We will definitely be back.

Food was delicious! I had the salmon. I find that a lot of places tend to overcook salmon, but this was perfect! Service wasnt very good, but it was a busy night. Its not a Long Horn Steakhouse, prices are a bit higher, but its nice they buy thier resources from the community. I will be back :)

Been here a few times, and it never fails to impress! The food is delicious, and its obvious that the chefs and wait staff will cater to and help out with any food preferences, allergies, etc. Fantastic place, through and through.

Quiet, relaxed place with great food. Half their menu changes periodically, offering seasonal options so you can try something new. Definitely get the tomato soup. They arent exaggerating when they say its award winning good.

Possibly the finest service in St. Louis. Staff is wonderfully warm and excitedly informative about their ever-changing menu. Big Sky has become our go-to spot for special occasions and celebrations.

Great local casual restaurant with a nice patio. Happy hour is great. Good beers for $3; wines and select cocktails for $5; various appetizers for $5-$7 as well. Excellent service.

One of the finest lunch spots in St. Louis. Remarkable service, delicious food options and hand-crafted beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. This is a real gem!

Unnecessarily pretentious wait staff. Food is decent but snooty vibe really kills the mood. Think over priced diner food served to you by the cast of Portlandia.
