Just Not As Good As it Once Was The quality just is not as good as it once was. Foods on the the bar seem to always be the same, highly processed, overly salty offerings, with little variety. Mashed potatoes are thin, instant, and the country gravy runny and lumpy, clearly from mix. Macaroni and cheese features over-cooked, mushy noodles with no flavor, though it looks very cheesey. Bread pudding is dry, and more like just a sweet stuffing, and the molten lava cake was dry, and over-cooked (tasted burnt). Last visit was for Easter Brunch, 2017. The biscuits were clearly microwaved, and not fluffy at all, resulting in a crumbled mess, instead of a nice biscuit with gravy. Gravy, as mentioned, above, was very watery, and lumpy, and had no sausage in it. Cinnamon rolls looked and tasted as if they were from a can, and the ham was so salty, it was inedible. Seafood "Scampy" was leftover from Friday nights seafood buffet, and was mostly rubbery mostaccoli noodles with a few strands of imitation crab meat and tiny shrimp. Meatballs swimming in brown BBQ sauce (what more can I say?). There was a heaping pan of scrambled eggs that looked good, though Im not a fan of scrambled eggs. The bacon was good. Over all, this just is not as good as it once was, before the last owner passed away. The quality is subpar, and the value is just not there, any longer. It is very over-priced for what is offered. It is sad, really, because I used to love this place.

Our server was friendly, but the food was very underwhelming and very underseasoned. My wife and I ordered medium cooked steaks. Hers was cooked well done and had no flavor. Mine was cooked medium well. I sent mine back and got another medium well steak with lots of fat and grissel. I couldnt even cut through most of my steak. When my wife complained to the manager about the steak she told my wife that "theres no need to be rude". When she held the steak up for the manager to see, the manager scolded her and told her to "put that down before others in the restaurant see it". I will never eat here again even though I got $14 back and a gift card for two steak meals. Worst steakhouse Ive eaten at. They should remove the word steakhouse from their name.

Service can be a bit slow at times, but the all you can eat buffet is GOOD a good deal for your money. The food espicaly the Manicotti with marina sauce and the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and brown chicken gravy. However WOULD NOT order a stake from here as they dont know how to cook them. Last time I ordered a stake medium well I got it medium rare to rare as it still had bloody juices coming out of it medium well you WILL NOT have that. Sent it back they just cooked that stake more insted of cooking a new one.

Horrible service if you call in for a to go order. Tonight the girl acted like she never took an order over the phone. I told her I wanted a 1/2 rib dinner. She said "ok" and then silence. She didnt ask me what shes side or salad dressing I wanted, her demeanor was so bad I asked to speak to the manager. I waited and waited and no one ever came to the phone so I hung up. Every time I call for a pick up order its horrible. That reataurant is not what it used to be!!

Rolls are never done when I go for lunch. Then when they come out they are very, very, dark brown the next 2 batches. When Im leaving they apparently take them out of the oven in time and they look just right. The 2 guy servers are friendly but kitchen staff sucks. When you ask them a question they get attitude. You can be scooping mash potato and they will grab at the spoon or tap their fingers on counter to hurry you up. Restrooms here are always clean.

Almost 30 dollars to eat here without paying for soda for a family if three, just for the buffet. The food was gross and old. The macaroni was watery. The waiter never came to see if we need refills so eventually I just went and filled my own drink up. ( dont know if you are allowed to). Deserts were never there when we went up. And the buffet was covered with syrup and was gross. We will not be returning. Much better places to eat for way cheaper.

I dont know if its just the lunch buffet or what, but I felt like I was eating out of the kitchen at a retirement facility. The food was either extremely bland or excessively salty. And the lack of choices on the buffet made it worse. I hadnt eaten at a ponderosa in more than 10 years, and theres a good chance I probably wont be back. For another 10$ I could have had Outback Steakhouse.

The buffet line has everything that you need to fill up and with a drink its like 11 bucks. Chicken wings are always the quickest to go, along with the yeast rolls which are excellent when fresh. Seems to be decent steak options here, entree prices include buffet but I cant bring myself to spend over 15 bucks for my food on most occassions.

I havent visited a Ponderosa in years, however this has become my "go to" place. Very friendly, hard working and helpful staff. It is very clean and has a nice variety of good food and desserts. I leave full and with the feeling the folks there take pride in the place and the product. 5 stars!

Jackie was our server. She was really nice, and helpful. The food was just okay, but the service was actually better. Even the girl at the register was happy and friendly. Being friendly and genuine is better than having Awesome food and mediocre staff. These two ladies were great. Props!

Was here like two weeks ago the place was clean bathrooms was clean food was good and hot they kept the food bar filled only thing was our waitress didnt pay us any attention really but we didnt care we still left her a tip☺we had fun we was full and I was with my family we will be back..

We go once a week to this Pondo. Male servers up front are attentive and the place is clean. These folks work hard and the food is good. Improvement needed in pizza cooking and more ice cream cones. We come back to places that are good.

I think for a buffet its a little expensive because you have to order your steaks and stuff on the side and pay more for them. And there are other places you can go for a buffet and have steak and shrimp anyway you like it.

Food is low quality and very little to pick from. The price is way to high for what they are serving. They only up to eating here is the service. They are kind and keep the drinks full. I will not be returning though.

The buffet was awful. The restrooms were filthy. Seating was extremely cramped. It wasnt worth the money I paid. The all you can eat corned beef and cabbage on st. Pattys Day was misrepresented

Friendly waitresses and waiters willing to help good price and the food delicious. Fresh fruit on the breakfast cant beat it. This is the third time Ive been here and Ill definitely come back
