R&C is a quiet, cozy, family owned Korean restaurant that offers some of the best delicious food of South Korea. Ive been going to this restaurant off and on for several years now. Everything is prepared fresh, and I have had no complaints about the quality of the food. My favorite dish is the pork bulgogi. It is prepared spicy, yet tolerable to most guests. R&C is what youd call a "hole in the wall" restaurant. The dining area is small with about 10 tables. The food is excellent, but it comes at the cost of a hefty wait when theyre busy. They run the restaurant with only one cook and server. Its practically a two man show. Like I said, the wait times can be long, but they bust their butts, work very hard, and the food is definitely worth the wait. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are huge. They serve your entree with several complimentary side dishes, as per Korean cuisine, and they include the following: fish cake, pickled radishes, pickled cucumbers, bean sprouts, kimchi, and many others. They serve canned soft drinks, sweet tea, and beer. The tea comes with free refills. This place is very popular with the military (since its a block away from Keesler Air Force Base) and somewhat popular with the locals. Korean cuisine may seem strange at first to some, but its definitely worth trying. I guarantee R&C wont disappoint you.

Have been going there for about 6 months...the food is so good that I crave it but have changed the day I go...which means a different person waits on me and rings me up...had them overcharge me by $5 on my debit card and claimed it must have been a tip... I always leave a cash tip so this bothered me a little since I make a 45 minute drive to eat there... I have been back twice since the incident... cant help myself...#LoveTheFood

I lived in Korea half my life and if you want authentic Korean food this is not the place. Everything is westernized, I thought the kimchi tchigae was the only dish that comes close to the real thing which is the only dish I order when I go there. The side dishes though are pretty good. The menu is also very limited.

Pretty good food. I had something on the back of the menus with pork in it. I asked for it medium spicy and it wasnt spicy at all. It was actually a little sweet. Its always difficult to determine what "spicy" is when its the first time going somewhere. I will be returning and upping the heat level.

The food was tasty. The prices were comparative to lunch specials and dinners at other establishments. I suggest visiting after 1p.m. to avoid the lunch crowd. If you visit before then, expect a loud atmosphere and a harried wait person that may forget an entree for a member of your party.

This is NOT Vietnamese food. What ding dong classified this as Vietnamese? Though some Korean dishes are sweetened just a bit, most dishes are not sweet. The food here is disgustingly sweet and I could hardly eat my food.

The restaurant is cozy, the seafood pancakes are very good I highly recommend it and I also recommend the steamed dumplings that come with a very savory dipping sauce. Overall I recommend this place to everyone! I love it

The food was decent, first time there. Bulgogi was a little too sweet and service was not as fast as Id like, but would definitely try again! Dinner menu was a bit expensive for portion size, will try the lunch menu.

Best Korean food Ive ever had. The chef and owner comes from this particular part of Aouth Korea that makes phenomenal food. Do not miss this place if you are anywhere close by. You will not be disappointed!

This small hole in the wall was fantastic. Dumplings, Kim chi, bulgogi, udon.... All delicious. Its a two person operation at most so it may take a minute to order and eat, but its worth the wait!!

its not a common kind of cuisine on the coast. the r & c korean restaurant has a very distinct taste, which i like. they serve kimchi with anything you order. love the place, and the tv is so huge!
