Yummy Korean tofu place. Tiny shop, only three people working there that we saw. Street parking only. We got a lunch special with mild seafood tofu and bulgogi (beef strips), and a spicy seafood tofu. The bulgogi is on the sweet side but still good. Tofu pots come with rice, a raw egg you crack into your soup, and four sides (kimchi, potato strips, sprouts, and a clear bean cake thing). $10 for the normal tofu, and $14 for the special which was a smaller tofu bowl plus a choice of meat. Mom was kind of disappointed the tofu came in packages and werent housemade/from a local tofu store, but Im not that picky about stuff like that. Flavors were spot on. Prices were maybe slightly pricey but still reasonable. Ill bring the husband next time. :3

easily the best korean restaurant on campus. The menu is pretty small but everything they do is perfect. Nothing hits the spot like their spicy tofu stew/soup on a cold or rainy day. The man behind the stoves is one of the nicest people youll ever meet and always yells goodbye and thank you as you leave. The woman who waits the tables may come off a bit course but is also an absolute gem.

It was super busy when they first opened but things seem calmer now and service has also improved (I think the one lady serving everyone was initially overwhelmed). The tofu stew and ban chan have been consistently tasty. My go-to item is the seafood + beef tofu stew - I typically eat a lot for a small person and between the dishes and the rice, I can never finish everything.

Great spot for tofu soup! Get the dumplings or pork version. Its authentic, but very approachable for American tastes. Really, probably the best place for Korean tofu soup in the Cities. The gentleman that runs the kitchen is a very nice man. Place can get crowded with college students at times. That probably explains the very reasonable pricing.

The food was fantastic, I was able to crack my own egg into my boiling hot soup, consisting of tofu, clams, beef and shrimp. Many sides plates with fermented bean sprouts, potatoes, and kimchi (of course). Left feeling satisfied, decor was austere, but fitting, and the highlight was the food. Im already planning my order for my next visit!

Fantastic Korean. I was staying in the area for a week for a conference and came here the first evening. I loved it so much I returned 4 more times through the week. Great hotpots of bubbling soft tofu stew (Soondubu Jjigae) with a range of sides. The owners are always cheerful and welcoming. An absolute gem that I cannot recommend enough

Delicious spicy Korean soup with soft tofu and a choice of additional proteins, served boiling with an egg on the side for you to break and add yourself. The grilled beef is also delicious. And lots of yummy little side dishes, because Korea. Only 8 or so tables though (iirc), so it can get crowded, and pretty warm. Totally worth it.

One of the best restaurants on campus (and Korean in the city). The place is tiny, can get crowded, and service is so-so, but who cares when the food is this good? Their specialty is tofu soups, but dont be discouraged by the name, their grill (bulgogi) and rice bowls (bi bim bap) offer something for everyone.

Its a wonderful little restaurant that specializes in soondubu jjigae. My favorite is the dumpling one. They give you a raw egg to crack into the soup and the soup is so hot itll cook the egg. The soup will stay hot until the end of your meal. This is not a place to grab a quick bite unless you are Frozone.

Dont know why everyone rates this so well. The food was pretty authentic, but we got sick after eating it. Definitely not a clean place, especially back in the kitchen area. The customer service was so bad it was almost amusing. I felt like a second-class citizen there. Never going back.

The best Korean tofu house. I ordered Kimchi tofu soup and it was the best tofu soup I had in years. It seems that various tofu soup is all they offer but they are the best at it. Service was also very inviting and friendly. It will my go-to spot when I crave hot and spicy soup!

I discovered this place a few months ago and it makes me very happy. Delicious and boiling soup is something important to have near-by in Minneapolis. Cook and host are always very kind. Go there as much as I can

The food is authentic and super spicy. Luckily I was eating in the middle of winter and was sitting next to the entrance, so every time somebody entered or existed a gust of cold wind went down my butt crack.

I love this place. Its almost on campus, delicious, and the proprietors are nice. The lunch/dinner special combo (small tofu soup + meat dish) is tasty but maybe a bit pricey and kind of too big for lunch.

I have been a regular at this place for 2+ years now. Hands down best place to get tofu close to the U. Place looks a little sketchy from the outside, but the food more than makes up for that.

I love the soups! Small menu but they do everything perfectly. Perfect hang over food, but go at off times as they have about 10 two person tables

While the taste was great, glasses were the dirtiest Ive ever seen. The waitress brought a new glass without a word but it was the same.
