Had this pizza for the first time from the Detroit location on New years eve. Im quite the pizza condenser and can honestly say I have never had better pizza in my life. I was soo happy when I found out a friend goes to school by this location and could pick some up on the way home as we live about an hour away and dont get the opportunity to get out this way often. Even after being in the car for an hour and being reheated it STILL was amazing! The spinach and feta bread...well that was just a sub bun with yeah feta and spinach leaves on it. Wouldnt pay the $9 for it again but the pizza, I would pay anything. Amazing is the only word for it!

Great food. I had been to the Greek Town location and my expectations were well met. They took over an hour to make our food. The manager came to us about 45 minutes in and said that there was a mistake and they had just put the pizza in the oven (deep dish takes a lot longer to cool). She comped us with free salad and bread. I was very hungry, but the managers willingness to see what went wrong and inform us instead of covering it up was refreshing. The honesty was great to see and a wonderful managerial skill set. I applaud her and would welcome another visit. TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE and problem solving skills!!

I love the pizza at PizzaPapalis! The pizza never disappoints even though you have to wait a good 35+ minutes for it. That is why you order drinks, appetizers, or salad! Like I said, pizza is awesome, appetizers are so-so and service was so-so. We ordered pops, and our glasses were empty most of the time, where good service would have them full. WE ordered the bread sticks which came with 2 sauces, marinara and cheese dipping sauce. Sauces were tasty but the bread sticks were extremely dry. Overall, I go there for their pizza.... Maybe next time I will just get a pizza carryout ;-)

I dont mean to sound like a jerk. But Ive been to Pizzapapalis in Troy 3 times and each time the food wasnt all that great. I will admit I gave them a chance each time I went back but it just wasnt all that great. Ive had to send food back to the kitchen because it wasnt fully cooked all the way. The bread sticks one time where still raw in the middle and on another visit my pizza was still raw in the middle along with cheese not being fully melted. Blah Im sorry

I unfortunately had my first bad pizza from Pizzapaplis yesterday evening. I ordered the PapalisGourmet the pizza was missing the spinach ,chicken, the crust was dry, and way too much cheese. I guess that was to compensate for the 2 main ingredients missing on the pizza. The other ordered items subs were perfect. But the pizza straight to the garbage disopal no edible.

The hostess did no greet us a all Very rude. She basically threw the menus on the table. Waitress was very friendly. She never came and checked on us or if we needed refills on our drinks and the crust on the pizza was too hard. When we were leaving the same hostess just looked at us and didnt say have a nice day or anything. I will never go back there again!!

1st experience at John R location and last. Service was so crummy. Waitress didnt check on us because she thought we were regulars. Excuse me! ! Ordered deep dish that took every bit of me watching the whole news broadcast and other programs. Guests came and left. Manager acknowledged who he wanted to not every customer. Terrible experience :(

I love their wings and the sauces. Fav sauces are Michigan Bourbon and Peach & Pepper!! The deep dish pizzas are fantastic, and I often order pepperoni Stromboli. Best Mojitos in town!!! Kara makes them for me with fresh mint and lime with rum, club sofa and simple syrup. Sundays are now, as of March 16, 2016 wings are half off!!

Pizza Papalis makes the best Chicago Style pizza around. One can even order it "half baked" and finish cooking it in the oven at your destination. I was sad to see Moes Southwest Grill leave, but am glad that this vacancy was filled by two great restaurants (This location is a double franchise with Rio Raps).

The Pizza is undoubtedly the best that Ive ever had. I was surprised to see the great Beer prices they offer as well. My friends and Family also enjoy getting the Rio Wraps for lunch occasionally. (This is a dual-location with both PizzaPapalis and Rio Wraps). Love it! Love it! LOVE IT!

As a kid my mom and dad use to bring theyre pizza home every friday. Getting older I forgot where the pizza came from till last year. Ever since then Ive been making family memories just like my parents every friday. I love theyre pizza always had and still do 23 years later

Good food terrible customer service.. We ordered for 7 people the served 5 and forgot about the other 2 people.. By the time the others food came, we had already finished eating. Not to mention they brought them the wrong food.! Ill probably never eat there again

The food is delicious and cooked very well. The manager is very nice and other employees seem nice as well, although some of them are ditsy. Also, i love that the place has an outside area, so you can hang out outside during nice breezy summer nights.

I would love to understand how this establishment has this many positive feedback I ate there the other day and could have gotten a better pizza out of the frozen section at meijers, save your cash go to little ceasers.

This is the absolute best pizza in all of Detroit, trust me, nothing even compares. If you do not want to go downtown to Greektown, this location is great and the pizza is exactly the same. Deep Dish is the best!!!!

Food always great! Service always great! Its a little high in price...but you get what you pay for! I recommend the Italian beef Stromboli which comes with fries for only like $10

Iceberg Lettuce Salads, very expensive unimpressive pizza, little choices, no thanks Id rather go to Buddys or Shields where you get good quality food for your money.
