Met and Exceeded Expectations. We read through the reviews on this place which made us hesitant to try it. Dont let the bad reviews scare you off, it seems like they may have been made by people who 1. have never worked in food service 2. have completely unrealistic expectations about food and dining out. The atmosphere here is fun and quirky it sort of has an old fashioned pub feel. what we liked most was that it was spacious. Lots of places nowadays are more concerned with how many cutsomers they can cram into their establishment at one time. This place has ample room between tables and we were not squsihed so close to others that we had to feel like we were dining with people we didnt know. the decor is fun while not overbearing. Our server was great (if somewhat stiff), plenty attentive, we never went without anything we need and were offered all the extras and refills that are typical of A-plus service. Food was exactly as advertised (maybe even better) . Tons of delicious lean meat im between two thick fluffy slices of italian bread with provolone cheese, tomato slices, fries, and a vinegar coleslaw. YUM! because of the bad reviews on here regarding the time it took for the food to arrive.... first off, to previous reviewers, a half hour is not that long for a from scratch anything. our sandwiches arrived in about 15 minutes! I think this was because we go there before the lunch rush, it really started to pick up after we got our food. We plan to go back many times!

Not Bad...the service was great, although it took a while longer than I expected for what I ordered. Ambiance was festive, TVs everywhere for the sports lover...which Im not. Various areas for seating...speaking of which, I did like that the patio area can be closed off with garage door like windows, to be used as indoor seating. The food was good and to drink, I ordered a vanilla shake which came with a refill tin. The shake was thick and topped with cream, a cherry, and 2 vanilla wafers. To eat, I ordered the Roast Beef and Cheddar sandwich (limited time only)...I thought it was pretty good with the french fries and coleslaw (their trademark) as a layer on the sandwich. The sandwich was pretty thick as well and I could only eat half of it. As stated before, the ambiance was festive but I couldnt exact a specific theme. Although being from Pittsburg, PA, Im guessing thats the influence. The seating was fairly standard, with a mix of booths, tables, and high tops. Interestingly, the main entrance featured a turnstile door and a single door next to it. The music was a variety of popular music from the 90s to todays top songs. It was a good first-time experience, but undecided whether Ill go back or not. I do recommend trying it if youre a big sandwich person...they DO make pizza so I may go back to try it!!

Ok so i was not going to leave a review until we gave them another shot but i feel the need. First of all our waitress was wonderful. She was fast and very friendly. She even let me try a piece of one of the meats to see if i liked it or not before ordering which was cool. But the bad over powered the good by a long shot. After my drink was almost half gone i realized my cup was so filthy on the inside it made me gag. It was awful. They dont even have grilled cheese for the little ones which is weird bc its a sandwich place. She told me they didnt have mac and cheese for whatever reason that day either. I got my daughter a chocolate milk and gave her a drink of it and my husband told me to check the date and it was 3 days old! I asked for a new one and they were all old. Asked for white milk those were all bad too. (Makes me wonder about the food!!!) I bit into my buffalo chicken sandwich and idk what the hell i bit into idk if it was fat or what but it was enough to make me not eat more then half of my food. Plus it was extremely hard to eat it because it was tough. It was just an all around annoying experience. I will say thlugh.. The atmosphere is really neat.

The atmosphere inside and out was neat, clean, and convenient (accented by USB outlets at the tables). The inside is set up like an old school sports bar. Let me start by saying the service didnt influence my rating at all there our waitress was friendly, receptive, apologetic, and professional. I will mention that no less than three parts of our meal needed corrections but the corrections were offered before we even mentioned them to the server by what I assume was a manager. My low rating comes from the quality of the food itself, I ordered a gyro, and as most restaurants offers this as a delicious shaved meat Greek sandwich what I received was a pita with over processed lunch meat clearly cut from a loaf rather than shaved and tasted awful, my step daughter ordered their not so world famous sandwich and the meat was clearly of similar ilk. I will not be returning until Im assured the quality of the food vastly improves.

I know several people that say service is extremely slow if you eat in so Ive always done takeout but now ordering takeout is not much better. I tried calling in to order takeout but no one would answer. I had others errands to run and no time to wait so I tried several times during my errands. I called 5 times in an hour and never got an answer. When I finally got there I told them I had been trying to call and was given a crappy apology and was told that they were very busy. I placed my order and went for a walk through the mall, but when I got back no one was around. When the hostess finally did show up she walked right past me and ignored me, she wouldnt even look my way with a nasty look on her face. By the time I got her to notice me, get my order and get home it was cold. The only reason I gave 2 stars is cuz the food is good.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh for 34 years, moved here in 2012. I have long awaited for this. Patiently waiting for Novis to open. The Original Primanti Bros. is a must do in Pittsburgh. The sandwiches are bigger and tastier because they make them on the spot in their little dinner setting like the old days; and they make them BIG. The restaurants are not as good but if you cant enjoy the original then the restaurants are 2nd best. Every restaurant is a little different but the food and theme is the same. The difference is who is making the sandwiches. Ive been to different Primanti Bros. restaurants and have found some to be good while others were average but all in all the food was good. If you get a wimpy sandwich thats not loaded with fries and slaw, demand it be made like the original, like they do in Pittsburgh...

Outrageous first visit, so unique, so delicious had the classic big brother sandwich stuffed with Pastrami, Slaw n Fries OMG what a flavorful mega sandwich plenty to share, , the biggest stacked Onion Rings ever and the Brothers Buger a Burger stacked with Pastrami, Double Damn Provolone Cheese and Egg Holy Wowed. Super service provide by I think Andy. Great selection of draft beers, seen 6 IPAS on tap. Fun filled conversation with manager, he knows his craft taking care of customers and staff. Looking forward to many more visits HAPPY HOUR on me list, all the reviews around Web talk about famous specials Happy Hour 3 till 6 M-F and 9pm till close. Just love the Sports decor all Michigans teams represented.
