The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was the terrible service in the beginning. The Manager Shane Hanna and our actual server, Denver, totally rescued the dining experience. (Note: we at this same restaurant three days prior and left after not recieving any service WHILE being seated directly next to the server area and kitchen. The employees were not professional on this visit and we left and went somewhere else) My fiance and I went on a Saturday evening around 1645 (4:45pm). We were greeted and seated quickly by the greeter upon entering the restaurant. We had enough time to decide upon our drinks, an appetizer AND our respective meals BEFORE THE WAITRESS EVEN TOOK OUR DRINK ORDERS. So needless to say, the waitress took her time getting to our table and taking our orders. We then waited about 15 or so minutes for our drinks to arrive. . .but they didnt. Another employee heard us complaining and stated he would get our drinks, and we spoke with the manager (Shane Hanna) as well. We stated that we were displeased with our experience and requested a new server. Shane listened and we recieved excellent and attentive service from our new server, Denver. Shane also came back and surprised us with the news that he was taking care of our dinner that night and covered the whole meal for the two of us. Shane turned a really low quality experience into a positive one. We will be returning, and Denver will definitely be the server of choice for all future visits.

We went on Saturday evening, so we expected a wait, but theres not a lot of comfortable space to wait in. You can cram yourself by the hostess or stand behind people sitting at the little bar, or you can go stand in the cold entry way. The wait wasnt a problem, as we were expecting a wait, but we noticed a few empty tables. Im not sure why no one could be seated in them, but Im sure there was a reason. Not a big deal. When we got seated, we had the greatest server! We also had other servers throughout the evening speak with us, too. The staff is incredible! Thats about the only thing I find enjoyable here. The food isnt nearly as good as I remember, and the prices are significantly higher than I recall. The atmosphere and the people are awesome, but the food is pretty underwhelming and overpriced. I definitely cant say enough awesome things about the staff though! Everyone really was absolutely amazing. I have to give credit where credit is due.

First off, the only reason I gave it two stars instead of one, was because "Eazy" the seating host, was incredibly polite and friendly. The service wasnt just bad, it was nonexistent! My friend and I attempted to dine here for lunch and although we were seated almost immediately, we sat at the table for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledged us. The restaurant was more than half empty and had 6+ servers. There was no excuse for the wait. Whats worse is that the couple at the table behind us said that theyd been waiting even longer and no one had been to their table either. Being a server myself, I make sure to at least greet guests so they know were aware of them, even on my busiest shifts! Ignoring customers is no way to run a restaurant. Fed up with being ignored, we left and went to Red Robin and had much better service there.

Ive never personally had anything against Tgi Fridays until today. WORST dining experience ever! My family I went on a Monday, and it was unusually busy for a Monday evening. However, I did anticipate the wait and had no problem waiting 10 minutes for a table. But when we were seated, the chairs were dirty and wet from washing the table, and the menus were disgustingly dirty. The wait for our food was close to 1.5 hours and when it finally arrived, it was cold, soggy, and, unappetizing. One of our main dishes had to be returned to the kitchen because it was just disgusting. This place has officially lost customers. Definitely worst dine in experience ever! I was not the only customer affected by this horribly managed restaurant. As tables around me were also complaining about their service, wait, and food.

I server, Miles, said he was new. He was patient as I tried to sign into the app. After that was a bust, he took our order for drinks and apps. The wait was longer than I thought it should have been. We got the drinks and appetizers but no plates to share them. By the time he was able to bring them, I told him we no longer needed them. He took our order...but forgot to put it in. An hour + later, we had our meals. My salmon was missing the langostino lobster topping and my daughter didnt get one of her sides. BUT, it was kind of hard to complain when everything except the Long Island ice tea was comped. On top of his multiple apologies and request to come back so he could make it up to us, we left Miles a tip and agree to try and give him another chance.

Yes, its a chain. Maybe its just me, but I saw a noticeable uptick in customer service at most TGIF over the last 5 years. Since the last year or maybe more Ive gotten poor customer service. Wait staff that werent very attentive to mixed-up orders and missing food. This place is was pretty much the same. Personally didnt have missing food, but I witnessed others at the bar. When that persons food was brought out it was just like, here get out! Didnt go though what they ordered in the bag. Sure, it was busy but I saw many take out orders that night. Anyways, like Id said before poor customer service. Not looking for a 5 star experience, just a friendly smile and someone someone earns their tip through basic customer service.

Horrible Service! Food and drinks took forever to get, despite the fact the restaurant was half empty. Took almost 15 minutes after we were seated to get a server. First Chris was going to be our server, then Chris said it would be Sierra, who then said it would be Adam, then Sierra said "Fine, I guess Ill take you." SMH. I thought servers made money on tips, and I am USUALLY a very goodbye tipper, as my husband and I worked in the industry in our younger days. We have no plans on returning, and thats a shame considering we had a wonderful experience there a couple weeks prior. I do not recommend them, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area that will be happy to have customers.

Fridays Fridays Fridays , this locations blows . Waiter had us waiting for like 15min to order on a freaking wed. ummm its summer time restaurant wasnt full !Food was up to par as usual but service was no excellent at all if you live in the area there is a fridays in livonia on haggerty between 7 and 8 mile that is much more preferred. Waiter was taking so long to go back we asked an employee that walked by for a box and she through a fit . Like dude you work at a restaurant I didnt ask yo for $20 bucks I just asked for a box never going back to this one . Other places to spend your hard earned money AVOID!!!

What happened to this place. We took my cousin out on her birthday and it was an awful experience! It took 20 minutes to be seated even though the place wasnt even half full. Another 20 min to get drink. Then because of a mess up in the kitchen we were all done eating before my cousin even got her food. When her food finally came out her burger was cooked way past well done (which she ordered medium) and no seasoning on her cold fries( not even salt) when we asked the waitress she said maybe they forgot. Sorry to say but we will no longer be visiting this location. Bad service and poor food
