I received very poor service at the Checkers in Highland Park Michigan by the manager on April 2, 2011 at 10:30 p.m. I made an order of 2 Fish sandwiches, 2 chicken sandwiches, 1large French fry and 2 apple pies. I drove 7 miles home only to find out my fries were not in my order. I drove back to checkers and had to wait in the drive-thru to speak to the manager. The manager said he would give us our large fry plus a small fry for the inconvenience. I then requested to the manager if he could give 2 large fries instead for our gas, time and their error. The manager rudely stated he is not going to give 2 large fries but instead would refund our money. This was a poor management decision instead of adding a hand full of fries more but he rather give 6 dollars and 80 cents back after wasting the entire order that was given back causing the company to lose a customer, food and money. It is important all managers should be trained to properly compensate the customer for restaurant errors.

First time eating from checkers and last. I was there today at 6.15pm the cashier Brianna took my order i did ask her what is inside the burger #1 and she never said that it has bacon( which i do not eat), i took it and asked for no cheese and no pickles in it. So i got my order and drove away only to see when i opened it that it did have cheese and bacon . i called the store 2 times no one answered. I had to throw the burger away since it had bacon. Was shocked that no one answered the phone plus the lady that took my order seemed pissed that i asked what is inside the sandwich. Dont waste your time here.

Fire the manager. We arrived 20mins Before closing to sit at the menu for 5 mins to watch them turn the lights out. The owner should be pissed I own a production studio down the street, my customers had over a $50 order. Pictures include date and time.
