Favorite locally owned and operated hamburger joint in Battle Creek. The Ritzee is a hybrid between a fast food and sit down restaurant establishment. You order your food at the cashiers counter and then find a seat where you are served. I have frequented this location for years and it has been a Battle Creek institution for over 50 years. The food is always hot and prepared well, my favorite is the Big Ritz, fries (very unique and tasty crinkle cut fries), and best shake in town. The owner and his staff are courteous professionals. They really make you feel they appreciate the business which is not common these days. I know most of the employees have been there for years, probably a testament to the owner and management. They also have a great breakfast that is served quickly and as tasty as any in town!

Their burgers and fries and shakes are unsurpassed by any other fast food type establishment within 25 miles. If youre dining in, theyll bring your order to your table or booth when its ready so you can enjoy friends and family time. You can also tell the lemonade has real lemons in it. Where other places take shortcuts and offer sub par items. Ritzee takes their time to get each order correct and ensure that the quality of the meal you may have had there years ago still exists today. I highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys great tasting comfort food without all the commercialized gimmicks.

I always just get an order of cheese fries, just fries and cheese. They keep giving me chili cheese fries. If I wanted chili cheese fries I would of asked for that. They always taste great when I get what I asked for. Sometimes the service is really slow, and some of the employees are rude. They act like they could careless.

Good food for a reasonable price! I went in one time a few years ago and both of my cards got declined. As I went to leave, one of the managers told me that they "got me" and gave me my meal anyways! Made a customer for life out of me, and I try to go back often. Thanks for that.

This place is a good family own restraunt. If your looking for a good reasonably priced restaurant this is it. They are known for their homage chili. This restraunt is the type of place where you can go in with 5 or 6 bucks and have a home cooked meal. Definitely recommend!!!!!

On July 8 th I made arrangements to feed 20 people which was initiated by my wifes funeral. So time was crucial. Even though I was not able to pre-order, orders were taken and expidted rapidly and schedules were met and food was great. Thank you Ritzee and staff.

I am a school bus driver who was waiting. I couldnt fit the bus in the lot but it was worth parking down the street. I ordered a Bacon cheeseburger and fries and it was very good. The customer service is top notch.

For anyone from Grand Rapids who remembers Get-Em-N-Go, Ritzees cheap burgers are very similar to theirs. Very small and probably just microwaved but theres something nostalgic about a 69 cent burger
