This was my second time visiting this place. The first time they were some what busy and the service was Ok, the waitress even took the time to help pick a dish I was trying to find. The food was not great but it was not terrible. So I had friends visiting from overseas and we decided to eat Thai, and my girlfriend and I picked this place since it was Ok the first time. BAD CHOICE!!! When we got to the place the place was nearly empty around 7 pm. Only one guy was the waiter (I wouldnt be surprised if he owned the place, at least he acted like he did). The food is OVER PRICED and DOES NOT TASTE that good, it was not the worst food I have eaten but it was also not anything special. What really was disappointing was that the quantity (portion) was so small, I think I could have eaten the food in like 3 bites, and Im not a big eater at all, I had to fill myself up on rice. But that is not why I am writing this review, the real problem with this place is that the SERVICE was EXTREMELY POOR, for a day that the place is not busy at all you would think at least they would have time to give quality service, but that was not the case. The person was extremely rude and this was completely without provocation. All of us at the table noticed it and I felt bad for ever picking this place. I really wanted to go have a talk with this guy and tell him this is extremely poor service and we would not be coming back, but unfortunately I did not get that opportunity. Towards the end of the dinner we asked him for separate checks and this guy makes a face and says in a rude voice "YOU SHOULD ASK ME BEFORE YOU START", is it really that hard to calculate the bill for 4 people separately when you have no customers to worry about? It was really the manner he said it in that was more the problem then what he said. When he came back with the check he still put it all on a single bill. Rude and insulting till the end. We were nice a left him a 15 percent tip each, but honestly I did not even want to leave a single penny. I wish I could give this place a NEGATIVE 10, I think 1 star is just to kind. I really hate to take the time to write a review so this is only my second review ever but I think people should know how bad my experience was and hopefully they will not have to repeat it. SAFE TO SAY WE WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I try to go to all the thai places around the area. Siam Square is now at the top of the list. I had a dish called cashew nuts with chicken. The flavor of everything, the vegetables, the meat, the gravy and the rice we were served was superb. Not greasy in the least. Also, for an appetizer, we shared an order of thai-style spring rolls, which are served in a non-fried rice wrap. Super delicious, crunchy and fresh! I love fried stuff as much as the next 20 something american but damn if those fresh spring rolls made even more excited for the main course. My husband and i were seated in a booth which had a beautiful ornamental woodwork, in fact-every decoration in this place consists of ornamental woodworking. Lots of elephants. Not loud, not too dark, not too bright, great service. My husband asked for the spiciest they can make his dish, and they did not give him the white guy treatment. I asked for medium spicy, cuz im a wimp. It was perfect.

I have been going here for years with my family, and we love it. My family is from Thailand, so trust me when I say we know what Thai food is supposed to taste like. I think some of the people who give bad ratings are used to this type of Thai food. There are 2 menus one is all in Thai, and is the *super* authentic food. And then there is the normal menu; though its the menu used to serve most guests, especially Americans, the food they cook here is most like the food you would get if you went to a Thai home and ate dinner. Most of the staff is Thai, and speaks the language which is a bonus. Of course, not everyone is going to love everything, but I won’t ever look down on this restaurant. Also, it has been in this location forever, so stop complaining that its attached to a hotel. How does it being attached to a hotel affect the TASTE, and SERVICE? Haha. Just thought I would give a review from someone who has experience there. :)

Located in Victory Inn. Not a great first impression for a first date or a family. Initial impression of a dark seedy motel. Upon entering the restaurant, you are transported to another world. Beautifully decorated with various seating styles from traditionally open to alcoves with folding doors and sections devoted to large groups. Food was fantastic with custom spice levels. I asked for hot and Im still burning! Hubby loved the pad thai. My very picky young girl actually ate the pineapple fried rice and crispy veggie rolls. No fight. Miracles of all miracles! Getting to the bathroom was a little scary. Need to walk through the hotel. Located down dark hallway. Very friendly efficient service, local business, family owned.

Hands down worst Thai Restaurant in Ann Arbor. I walked into this restaurant with very high hopes after hearing rave reviews from numerous people I know. I even heard that it was the best Thai restaurant in Ann Arbor, which couldnt be farther from the truth. I tried the crab rangoons which tasted fishy and were burnt, red curry was extremely sub-par, peanut noodles were bland, slimy and stuck together and overly-sweetened, and the basil dish tasted like sweet and sour chicken. Even No Thai is at least twice as good as this place. Didnt taste authentic either. Needless to say I will never be going back. Youd be much better off going to Tuptin down the street, or even better Siam Spicy in West Ann Arbor.

Gross. I just moved to the area and this was the nearest thai restaurant. I spent $15 for pad thai and crab rangoons, carry out. This was the worst Pad Thai I have ever eaten. The sauce was extremely dry and the noodles were soggy. The sauce also had a tomato taste to it and was red, not like the normal fish sauce that is typical on pad thai dishes. There were no bean sprouts, and there was barely any chicken in it. I didnt even finish the meal, I tossed it out. The rangoons seemed like they had been sitting under a heat lamp all day. Definitely wont be going back to this place.

Ok, so yes the exterior is managed chaos. It is connected to a less-than-best motel across from Arborland shopping center. The inside is nice, quaint and well maintained. The food is awesome! Specifically the Siam square spicy basil with chicken. I love spicy food and medium-spice suits me here, Ive had hot and xxtra hot as well, but the xxtra hot is unbearable at times. I go here as often as I can. Havent found a better thai dish around. I cant speak for the rest of the menu except that the drunken noodles are fair as well.
