If youre looking for some authentic Mexican food in the middle of western Massachusetts, this is a decent pick. I ended up here because I found a cheap groupon and my boyfriend and I were looking for something to do on a Friday night. The restaurants a decent size, but the parking lot is rather small and fyi its located in the back of the restaurant. It was pretty empty for a Friday night, allowing us to get our food and drinks quickly, which we loved! I had the fajita chimichanga and my boyfriend ate the fiesta burrito, neither of which we could finish...partially because we downed two baskets of chips and salsa before our food came out and because their portions are rather larger. Either way, make sure you go with an appetite! Now lets talk drinks I had the premium margarita and my boyfriend had the Cadillac margarita, both of which were fantastic! Very tasty, but strong at the same time...youre definitely not drinking straight juice at mexicali lol and theyre priced nicely.

Our experience at Mexicali Grill was simply lovely. Carmena (pardon spelling) was our server. She was prompt, courteous and helpful in every way. We went with Groupon in hand and at the beginning of our greeting she explained how and what to do. Not only was the food delicious, the service from Carmena to the hostess and those filling water, serving the warm chips and fresh salsa, including the greeting from the manager asking how things were going, were first rate. We will be returning...Groupon or not. :-)

Did not like at all. My husband asked for a Sprite and got seltzer water twice. The food was okay but there were three of us. Only utensils for one. At the end of meal I left all of my quesadilla. My waiter asked me if I wanted a box which I said yes, she bought me the smallest one. My pina colada taste nothing like a pina colada and had to flag another waiter for napkins.

We come here every couple months and we just love it. They impress us every time. Fresh, fast, and delicious food along with very attentive and friendly service. Today I noticed the wait staff using hand sanitizer that was on the wall as they enter the building. We took our guacamole home and they packed up fresh chips and salsa to go with it. Terrific place.

Great place, great food. Only drawback for all people that prefer to do take out, or have to (we do because we have young kids and its easier) you can NEVER use any coupons or discounts for take out. This includes coupons they email you and the AAA discount of 20%. Wish they would change that. They would definitely get more of our business!

Food is really good here and the staff is EXCELLENT. The best waiters and waitresses. Really good margaritas, delicious complimentary chips and salsa. Not too quiet not too loud, plenty of tvs in the bar area. Fresh guacamole made tableside, really fresh and good!
