They were the buffet place. Everyone went during lunch for the buffet. They are no longer the buffet place (they say only for the summer, well if they survive without business this summer, well check them out again). Myself and my party, as the others whom came in after us, were like deer in headlights when we walked in. If it wasnt pouring out we would have left. They changed on a Friday from buffet to table service only. They didnt hire additional staff for the change, and they fed us on prison trays. Did I mention this was a buffet place? Now they are small portioned amounts. To top it off, service was slow, slow, slow. So from hungry happy people, to disappointed, to angry hungry people in about 30 minutes.

Liked it before the menu and name change (Monsoon to Savoring India), much less so now. Used to have dosa and other Southern Indian choices, but not anymore. Last time we were there the Mulligatawny soup was watery and tasteless, rice was dry, the brown sauce/goop on the two dishes tasted identical, no vegetables in the curry (only chicken and sauce). Service was slow even though the restaurant was less than half-full.

Been here twice now. Entrees for dinner was super tasty, super fresh, and reasonably priced. Where else can you get goat meat for dinner? All you can eat lunch buffet was super tasty, super affordable, and pretty fresh. The naan bread with the buffet was hot, crisp, and delightful. The server is polite and attentive, if a little quiet. Ive seen the owner around both times I was here.

Theyre take on indian food is a bit different than any other place Ive been--very good though. The surroundings are polished, and the waiters are attentive. Im giving four stars because the price competition is so tough for Indian food--Even though prices are reasonable at Savoring, other great places are slightly cheaper. Lamb vindaloo here is hands down the best Ive had anywhere.

We got take out last night and it was all really good. Our choices werent particularly adventurous (Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag, Malai Kofta), but it tasted fresh and delicious. So glad to have good Indian food back in Maynard!

AMAZING FOOD, great service, very affordable. A wide variety of menu choices, including half a page of different breads. Even if you think you dont like Indian food you should give this place a try.

I had the buffet today and it was excellent! For $10 you get a very fine selection of Indian food,plus fresh bread and desert. You can not go wrong.The buffet is Tuesday through Saturday.
