This was a chance discovery that is likely to become our favorite spot. New ownership is taking this restaurant to new heights. We found the food to be excellent with selections that range outside of typical Italian food. We were surprised to learn that the menu includes a number of Persian choices (I enjoyed a delicious Beef Kobideh). We found the staff to be genuine believers in the mission of this establishment --- personally committed to its success which meant that all of our needs were met enthusiastically and promptly. The space is elegant, high ceilings, rich woodwork, ornate chandeliers and grand, tall windows. Unlike many restaurants, the audio played softly enough as to not disturb (not the case with many restaurants!) and the music selections were soothing. I think any bad reviews posted here are from experiences with the previous owners. Well be spreading the word about this restaurant and wish them much success.

This restaurant is AMAZING! My husband and I are always eating out and we have eatin at our fair share of Italian places but this is by far the best yet! I had the rigatoni milano and it was savory, i was blown away...my husband had the chicken picatta and calamari to start and the flavor blew our minds! The Homemade bread was piping hot....everything was fresh and just perfect! You can tell the difference from a chef who really knows what to put into a real Italian dish and this chef has got it perfected! Waitstaff was great and aimed to please...We will be back to eat very soon!!

Delightful surprise! Weve ignored this in the past as just another Italian restaurant. The are plenty of those in the area and we have our favorites. But Persian! Thats different. Weve cooked some ourselves but didnt know there was a place we could get it nearby. First time was very promising. Well be back again.

The staff is attentive and personable. Jeff, the owner, is an incredibly talented chef. Dont let the Italian name dissuade you, the restaurant is the best middle eastern quisine- absolutely the best, 8. Ive ever had. Marlborough, MA has many hidden treasures, Jeffs restaurant is one of the best!.

The food tasted good enough, but it was nothing spectacular. I wouldnt recommend this place. The entire atmosphere/decor felt cheap & old and smelled old, cheap decor & it took our waitress a while to warm up to us. We ate here on a Tuesday night around 6:30 and the place felt dead.

Not that good. Service was a bit slow. Food was mediocre at best. Drinks strong but not good. Beer list tired. The best part was the live music by Jodee Frawlee- she was great... Unfortunately too many other negatives. Definitely will not be returning.

Loved this restaurant. The main dishes were excellent. We also asked for Jessica the singing waitress. She waited on us the last time we were there celebrating a birthday. She sang Happy Birthday in Italian!!! It really made the night special.

The bartender attempted everything possible to make our experience positive. The lamb was actually yummy. But the wait for the food to appear from the kitchen was INSANE (at least 45 minutes). They need to figure it out.

Inconsistent food and service. Ones of those place that Id like to give 4 stars but just cant do it. Some favorite items have been taken off menus or changed. Still my favorite Italian place in Marlboro.

Best kebab ever in Boston area ! Awesome Gilaki food ( delicious morghe torsh, mirza ghasemi and fesenjoon ) ! We went there from Boston and totally worth the trip! Definitely best persian place !
