Without question the worst Chinese food Ive ever had. We placed a huge order for mothers day and ordered a variety of old stand by dishes, including won ton soup, pu pu plater, beef teriyaki, lo mein, general taos chicken, fried rice and Mongolian beef. The only items that were passable and somewhat normal were the general taos chicken and the white rice. The won ton soup was horrible, it tasted like they used a chicken bullion base, the dumplings were doughy with hardly any meat. The beef teriyaki had NO teriyaki seasoning, was burnt and salty. The chicken wings were terrible, over battered and dry with no seasoning. The lo mein was horrid, we ordered house lo mein which was supposed to have meat and vegetables in it and it came as just plain spaghetti noodles with no flavor. The house fried rice seemed like white rice with vegetables and meat. It was OK, but wasnt the traditional Chinese fried rice we were expecting. Overall, extremely disappointing. When we called to voice our grievance, they only offered more of the same bad food we were complaining about! We spent almost $100 in food and ended up throwing most of it away.

The food was wonderful, hot and delicious. We had the Pu Pu Platter, House-Special Fried Rice and Wonton Soup. Its a family run restaurant that is owned by a warm and friendly family that have lived in the Marlborough area for 20+ years. Most important was the excellent service and considerate and friendly staff! Without the excellent customer service I wouldnt go back. They made us feel like we were very important people and were very attentive to our needs..We enjoyed it very much and look forward to going again very soon! My suggestion is that they either put a large and colorful "Grand Opening" sign outside of the restaurant near their name or send out colorful "Grand Opening" flyers, or both. As the other review mentioned, its easy to miss (its decor is very tasteful and beautiful) and needs a large and colorful sign to be noticed. Once its noticed and people try it, its a guaranteed recipe for success!! Word of mouth and this will be "thee" place to go. (Also, add a dinner specials menu or Dinner Combination Plates, for the evening diners:-)

I had the pleasure of dining here for dinner. The person at the counter was very welcoming and warm and promptly seated me. He explained the specials which was mostly seafood, however they use catfish for fish fillets and being allergic to catfish, I decided to try a beef dish. I ordered hot & sour soup which was similar fare you get in most chinese restaurants .. nothing special. Then my main dish was the Beef in Szechuan Peppercorn sauce which I asked them to make extra spicy. It was a fantastic choice I made and the dish arrived looking fresh with vegetables perfectly cooked and vibrant and the heat was just perfect. I ordered brown rice and they give you complimentary jasmine tea. The server paid great attention asking if he could do anything to make my dining experience better. Overall a fantastic experience and I will come back here again, but next time I will go in with more people so that we can sample more dishes from the menu.

Intimate atmosphere! Yang is very welcoming to patrons by offering a hot cup of tea on a cold day. The menu is typical Chinese fare however the ingredients are fresh and delicious. The vegetables are bright, crisp and fresh. Really loved the flavors of each dish that came to our table. We started with Hot & Sour soup and Egg Drop soup, Spring rolls and Crab Rangoon. All were excellent! Also we had the vegetable lo mein, Shrimp & Broccoli and Orange Chicken all very tasty with big portions. My husband and I will definitely be returning to Silk Road Bistro. Wishing the Song family all the best success!

Amazing Chinese food!! I have never ate food so fresh from a Chinese restaurant. Ive gotten sick multiple times at other places across Florida. Since Ive moved up here, Ive been coming here and every time, its always tasted fresh and I have never gotten or even felt like .y stomach was sour in any way. I highly recommend their crab ragoons, fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken. Not to mention customer service is amazing and I always feel welcome.

We have been here once before and loved the food. Tonight, we step inside and wait at the front desk. Girl taking a phone order, guy playing with papers. Stood there for a few minutes, absolutely no acknowledgement. I understand if you are busy but at least acknowledge the customer and explain it will be a minute. Also noticed there were other tables of people but only one with food. Completely disappointed!

Its wonderful having the best Chinese food just minutes from home. Have tried many things from the menu now and each one is excellent. Yang has also made thoughtful recommendations every time Ive asked. You can tell that he and his family really care about the food. Ingredients are top quality. And they now serve wine and beer, too. Thank you, and we hope to keep you in business for a long time to come!

After reading reviews on line, we decided to order our food for Mothers Day. We bought 8 items Pu Pu platter, teriyaki beef, General Tso"s chicken, Mongolian Beef, House Special Lo Mein, House Fried rice, Wonton soup, Steamed white rice. We ate the white rice and General Tso and threw the rest of the food out it was so bad. Its the worst Chinese food Ive ever had. Never had Chinese food I couldnt eat.

Ive been on the hunt for good Chinese food in Marlborough. I think I can stop looking. The Singapore noodles are amazing. Not sure what they do different but the egg rolls and crab rangoons have a slight sweetness to them and I like it! Great prices, great service, and great food. Im glad I live within walking distance. Highly recommend this little hole in the wall!

Great food! Our first time ordering from this place. It took longtime and they forgot something from our order, the manager was nice and refunded us some money back to our card and apologize. After we finished eating I had to call and tell them that we will be coming back because the food was really delicious. We are definitely coming back. :)

The food is not bad but they are overpriced and cheapskates. Spent over 50 dollars on takeout and we got ONE packet of soy sauce. Called to complain and they were unapologetic, said that was their policy. If your going to overcharge dont also be cheap with the condiments!!

New Marlborough resident looking for a good Chinese take out. Was disappointed. Food was just okay with exception of dumplings which get a 5 rating. Rest of dinner did not enjoy and they were out of spareribs! And no noodles with take out order.

The food was exceptional. The dumplings are homemade not the frozen ones you hat at other places. The chili bomb chicken was outrageously good and super spicy. Great service to go along with the food. Highly recommended!
