Ive bought pizzas from this place before and they are generally OK. In fact hundreds of dollars worth of pies. What really got me is that my wife ordered a pizza on the phone the other day and was quoted 9.00. When I got there to pick it up I was charged 15.00. As I was tired, hungry and forgetful I didnt bother with the odd few dollars...however, it bothered me enough that I checked with my wife the next day. The person who charged me extra bucks for the pizza at the shop fit the description of the person who had taken the order on the phone. Bad policy to switch prices on someone. That being said on a Saturday night the place was empty. Because of this occurrence I will no longer patronize this business. This shop has effectively lost thousands of dollars of sales as I do entertain people at my home in Cape Ann. Additionally, Cape Ann Pizza is no better. Will have to get my pizza now at Gloucester, or Beverly where the competition forces businesses to think about clientele first.

Ive been eating their food since I was born, its a small local place, that does a lot of take out for locals. Food is good for a decent pizza / sub shop, prices are reasonable, no fee for delivery just tip the driver, Ive been watching them cook stuff to order for most of my life, not some 17 year old whos following a sheet of directions preparing pre made stuff. Pizza is the cheesy, saucy, not sweet type typical of Greek pizza places. They use a nice hardy sauce, and arent shy with the cheese and toppings. As for the other reviews on the "attitude", its a Greek pizza place, you call, you order, you pick it up or get it delivered, if theyve made a mistake TELL THEM, Ill bet they try and make it right. Theyve always been killer with me about reading back my order to me. But give them attitude or act like an entitled snob about your local small 20+ years in business pizza shop, and expect them to respond in kind.

Yes in regards 2 1st. review. Not the pizza chef but 1 will verbal "attitude. A real winner for caring about service. Especially edicatebelive c--owner /family. Mis-quote may be in honesty. However person is a real jerk... Unfortunately, every serice in this are, is quite expensive. >c.s<

Solid food, fast service and the staff are a blast to get to know. Great value for what you pay. Strong items are the pizzas, chicken wings and steak tips. Take out or eat in with occasional delivery if they have the staff. Call first, they sometimes close a bit early on slow nights.

They have a decent selection of sandwiches, subs, pizzas, and other diner fare. However, wait can be long and the old man can be grumpy sometimes, but he puts out good stuff.
