Went in here to get an iced coffee, ordered a large cold brew. He poured it for me and then I when I tried to pay with a card, the guy at the counter told me there was a $10 minimum for the card. So I added two waters and a piece of chocolate... finally I get my coffee, and they dont have any almond milk (just soy milk), nor do they have zero calorie sweeteners of any kind. Unbelievably disappointing and the worst waste of $10. Avoid this place at all costs... walk down the street to Caffè Nero, Dunkin Donuts, or this awesome new place called Espresso Yourself. This place is NOT worth your time.

This shop is unbelievable. Maks, the owner, is incredibly knowledgable, a skilled barista and a great person to talk to. The shots he pulls on his Idrocompresso are among the best I have ever tasted in my life, each sip revealing a different array of flavors that sing on your tongue. They feature constantly rotating guest espressos from wonderful roasteries as well as Barrington Gold for their house espresso. If you are within 50 miles of 7 Pond and you love espresso, it is MANDATORY that you pay Maks and his crew a visit, you will not regret it.

7 Pond is easily my favorite coffee shop. Highlights: * Espresso! They have an incredible house espresso, and a guest espresso that changes every week or so * Affogato--a scoop of ice cream with their espresso poured over it * Iced chai on a hot day (pictured below) As for atmosphere, the shop has a light, airy feel to it. Jazz will probably be playing. I can write easily here. Keep in mind: cash only under $10, no wifi, if you sit next to the window on a sunny day youll feel like youre on the surface of the sun.

Best cup of coffee in JP, hands down, perhaps in all of Boston. Tiny and borderline pretentious austere interior, constant stream of instrumental bebop on the speakers. Espresso is "triple ristretto" which (because I asked last time I was there) essentially means more grounds per shot. Their version of an Americano is unrecognizable if youre used to the weak and watery excuses that get passed off anywhere else (even the new Caffe Nero down the street). Bottom line: simply perfect coffee and nothing more.

The coffee was great. The service is super pretentious. Iced Americano was perfect but some drinks like the machiato they wont let you order to go. Be ready for a lackluster history lesson on why they cant or wont tell you how many shots are in different size drinks.

Great little coffee shop with a tasty selection of coffees, tea and baked goods. They have a few bar seats right in front of the large storefront windows where you can relax and watch the world go by. Fun place to hang out and warm-up in JP.

Tiny but perfect fit getting a quick coffee. The service was excellent, the espresso was top notch and served with water to clean palette! The best espresso Ive had in Boston.

Always great espresso and curated jazz albums on loop. Probably my favorite coffee place in Boston. Dont forget cash if youre only buying one drink; $10 minimum on cards.

Try the "guest espresso" here. Approx. each week they have guest espresso of different origin. I have been trying it for the last 4 months and it was always amazing!

Definitely among the best espresso youll find in Boston and easily overlooked in JP Centre. Only small complaint is that staff tend to have a sort of snobby air.

This is the best coffee you can get in Boston. No one else puts as much care and attention to getting the best end-product and it totally shows.

Excellent coffee and pastries. The staff are pretentious and hilarious, straight out of Portlandia stereotypical stuff you would expect.

One of my favorite shops around! Amazing lattes and espresso, with a great selection of beans to choose from for the espresso lovers.

Best espresso in Boston by a long shot. The crema is out of this world, possibility better than Italy.
