There is not much better you can ask for in a cafe than delicious drinks, food, a great atmosphere and a friendly and engaging staff. The Castle has all this but they have one step above competitors by having their huge variety of games. My tush has spent many hours at the Castle since their opening night and every single experience has been a fantastic one. The owners Kevin and Ryn are so down to earth and leaders to their awesome staff. Ive come back to their lovely chai latte several times now and it is super creamy and delicious. If you feel like getting addicted to something try an order of their pretzel bites with their sweet dessert and honey mustard sauces and then be prepared to order about six more. If you and your group are bottomless pits like my friends and I then their refillable popcorn ( which you can customize to the flavor of the day which in the past has been sweet sugary cinnamonny deliciousness popcorn and chipotle to name the two I know of) and soda will get you pretty far. But at some point you will look at the menu and see they provide paninis which you must have because like everything else on their menu its top notch. Ive revisited my childhood at the Castle with a few rounds of jenga and hungry hungry hippos and have been introduced to new ultra complicated games which can be explained to you by the game master who roams around! There is always more fun to be had and more competitive banter passed around. I wish the Castle the best of luck as their business blooms and booms! I will surely be a regular around to see it.

We love going to The Castle! The owners are super nice and always checking in with people, making sure everything is good to go. The selection of board games is outstanding! From 2 player easy games to 10+ person in depth games, theres something for everyone here. The food is amazing as well! Its a café so dont expect some 3-4 course gourmet meal, they mainly do snacks sandwiches and their sandwiches as my co-worker has said more than ones are, "on point!" meaning theyre amazing! Theyll even doctor up the food anyway you want it, you just have to ask. The coffee is great too! What I also really really like about this place is theres no alcohol served, no loud music or "bar" feel to it. Its not a coffee shop/internet café either, you dont see 15 hipsters hanging out with their apple laptops being smug and too cool, everyone is there, having a great time. They do a Looking For Group (LFG) night where anyone can go and just meet someone new and hang out and play board games. Weve met random people there and had a great time doing it! New Years was a blast meeting new people, playing new games. I strongly recommend at a minimum checking The Castle out. its great for families, great to go just kill some time, meet new people and just have a good time in general.

Love coming to The Castle with friends! Only 5 dollars to play as many games as you want, and some really yummy options for food (I cant resist the pepperoni pizza panini). The atmosphere is comfortable and the interior is warm and inviting- especially with all the snow outside, it makes a perfect spot to warm up with a hot chocolate or a latte! Ive played tons of new games from stopping in for a game night with some buddies, and Im sure Ill learn tons more. Every employee Ive encountered has been helpful, friendly, and eager to help. Cant wait to go again soon, and bring more friends to experience it for themselves! Hope the Castle is here for years to come- they deserve every success!

Stopped by with my girlfriend a couple of weeks back and we stayed for over 3 hours. The only reason we let was because we had stuff planned, otherwise we could e spent far more time. The selection of games is expansive and ranges from simple to complex, but it was very entertaining. We plan on visiting again every so often, maybe once every 2-3 months. We didnt have much because we are there for the games, but the drinks and food werent bad either. $22 total for two for 3+ hours of entertainment isnt bad at all.

This place is great, if I lived closer I would be here all the time! Only $5/per person to stay as long as you want and play board games from their huge collection. All the games are organized and labeled so you can easily choose one that suits your group. They also serve snacks, sandwiches, gelato, and drinks (now alcohol, too!) to enjoy while you play. I was here with a group of friends and we were entertained for hours, but the bill was still cheap. I highly recommend taking a visit.

They have over 600 games from the most complicated strategy game to Candyland. I thought I would find people my age on a nostalgia trip but was pleased to discover mostly young people fervently engaged in games of all kinds. The staff seems to know the smallest detail of each and every game and they do not try to push food on you. They seem perfectly happy if you play games and drink coffee. This place is truly wonderful!

This place is top notch. The owners are still super involved in the day to day of the place and it shows. They care deeply about folks having a great experience gaming and having a good time. They have great reviews and helpful hints for casual gamers, and make the serious gaming sessions that much more fun and rewarding. I tried to talk them into selling me a franchise!

My boyfriend and I love going here! The prices are more than reasonable (only $5 per person to play for as long as you want) and weve enjoyed what weve had of the food and drinks. The staff has always been attentive, friendly, and helpful. The venue is always clean and well-kept. As an added incentive, we also often try board games at the cafe before buying them.

I think the Castle Cafe is very original in its idea of combining cafes with board games. You would think these two things have been mashed up before in a business model, but it surprising to find that there arent a lot of board game cafes out there. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a fun night out and good coffee!

I always have a great time at The Castle! Recently a group of 8 of us played Quelf and had fun being lively and laughing - no worries about being too loud at this place! The food was great and overall it was a fantastic way to spend a few hours. I highly recommend The Castle anytime you are looking for an affordable way to have fun.

Its a casual and inexpensive place to pass an afternoon with friends. Their collection of games is quite large and can accommodate anyone in your group. Food and beverages are available. My favorite is the chai tea and cookie platter. You can even reserve a table to host D&D games.
