For a reasonably healthy and cheap deal Potbelly is probably one of the best places to go in National Harbor. The other options for a reasonable price that are decent in my opinion are Subway, Elevation Burger, and Baja Fresh. Elevation Burger and Baja Fresh are pretty unhealthy depending on what you get. Subway can be healthy but I think their quality and taste is pretty disappointing. For a meal in the $6-$9 dollar range you can get a 6 or 9 inch sandwich with chips. I would suggest the chicken and cheddar or the chicken salad sandwich. Sometimes the line is out the door in which case it is not worth waiting 20 or 25 minutes. Usually it only takes about 5-7 minutes though and it is well worth it.

Disappointing. Flavors were good, service was fast, and everything seemed fresh, but they put almost nothing between the bread. I ordered a Mediterranean sandwich with chicken, and after slathering on lots of hummus, they put three or four little chunks of chicken breast end-to-end on my sandwich, along with a few crumbs of feta cheese. They were stingy with the other toppings I ordered as well. The end result was a sandwich that didnt fill me up even though I got the larger size, and which tasted overwhelmingly of hummus and pretty much nothing else. Yes its cheaper than most of the other eateries in National Harbor, but I guess they must think thats an excuse to skimp.

First trip was good but I was given attitude by one employee. Second trip was okay except the bacon I asked for was not put on my sandwich and they were out of the soup I wanted. I came back the next day, walking a few blocks through the cold just to eat here. I ordered the same cup of soup they did not have the day before. The lady behind the counter responded by telling me they were all out of soup and smoothies. Im not coming back here again unless I call ahead and ask what they have available. Unfortunate because I actually like the food.

Been to this place a dozen or more times over the past several years. Just went again yesterday, and weve never had a bad experience here. The sandwiches are all great (and I think we tried them all yesterday with our group of 10). They get them pulled together quickly, and loaded with toppings. Employees are helpful and efficient, and always friendly. Never had a bad experience here. Everyone in our large group yesterday enjoyed the food. Any time we go to National Harbor, this is our food stop.

Sandwiches are very good and reasonably priced. However, depending on whos taking the order, you wont know how it can be customized. Whats more, there are only two types of bread (white and multi-grain); provolone is usually pushed as the only available cheese option and there are fewer toppings than other sandwich chains. Oh - and the printable menu from their website for this location is incorrect - some of the prices are higher than advertised.

This is a gem, tasty sandwiches made to order, in quick time, by a friendly personable staff, at very reasonable prices in this pricey area, and so tasty (I know I said it before but the observation bears repeating). Had the Italian sub that was loaded with meat and cheese and obviously premium condiments. Went to this place three times during our 4 day stay while attending a conference at the Gaylord National Hotel.

If you like a sandwich made with stale rolls and little meat this is the place for you. My last visit the roll was stale before that it was stale and burned. I gave them a second chance but to no avail. Still bad. The manager was very helpful but her team produce bad sandwiches. I wont go back.

People were rude and didnt talk to you. Not very welcoming on that part. Couldnt say youre welcome when I said thank you. As if they didnt want to work here. The food was good and average priced. The decorations and theme was nice. I probably would not come here again.

Very good food. Got a large sandwich, bottle of natural lemonade, and milkshake for about $11. This is one of the best deals in town and within walking distance to the Gaylord Convention Halls. Nice environment with a view of the Potomac.

Always enjoy our visits to Potbelly Sandwich Shops - the malts, the chili and Farmhouse Salad are among my favorites there and their standards always seem to be high ... and the same... in all their various shops. A favorite of our familys.

Ordered the Grilled Chicken & Cheddar, excellent flavors, excellent meat to bread ratio. For that extra star I would say more choices, and better presentation. Also very fair prices compared to other locations in area.

Nice decor, easy menu. Everything you expect from a Potbellys. It wasnt too crowded here. I like going for the soup. The Milkshakes are a realistic portion and not giant either helping to eliminate that guilty pleasure.

Excellent place to visit with large convention level crowds in the area. Fast and friendly service which was better than any of the restaurants we visited during the week. Dont wait in long lines anywhere else!

Honestly the most amazing sandwiches! I am super picky because I worked at a deli but the Mediterranean was delicious! Only reason they got a 4 was because the bathrooms were disgusting. :-(

It was ok. Staff was nice. Their buffalo chicken sandwich was a disaster though, had virtually no sauce on it. I went twice and the burnt the edges of the bread on my subs both times.

I had the vegetable soup that tastes better than mine! Also made it a twin with a mushroom melt. Perfect lunch on a beautiful fall day to sit outside and eat lunch! I will be back :-)

Ran out of food. This is a major tourist area and to run out of food at 5pm, darn near dinner time is unacceptable. The worker behind the counter could care less.

A very dirty place, the sandwich was good, but all the tables had leftover food and stains on them. I ruined my favorite jeans sitting down on sauce.

Great service and a really tasty sandwich. Lots of flavor, really tasty bread, and a nice alternative to the other more common sub shops out there.

Average yet overpriced deli restaurant. As with everything in National Harbour, better options are available out of area.
