Aesthetic Appeal & Atmosphere: Great exterior look from the street & sidewalk. The interior is chic and nice but is small as they have limited space. They do offer outside seating during the warm months. Service: The service is good and they always greet me with a welcoming smile. Meal Quality: Ive gone through the menu like a shark tasting the fish options in the sea! Everything is good, and I mean really good! I enjoy ordering their empanadas or tequenos to start. I rev up the engines and go for one of their delicious arepas (queso, tomato, & roasted pork in a white corn pancake are my fav), cachapas (sweet yellow corn pancake with queso & shredded beef), or their cuban sandwich. Their tres leches to finish is delicious! Disclaimer: Everything is made fresh so dont be expecting fast food delivered to you quickly. This place was a great find! I just moved to DC and have been looking for some good Venezuelan food near by. I found cafe azul online and decided to give it a try. The food is delicious! I relived childhood memories eating their food. I loved everything but their arepas, cachitos, tequeños and cachapas are amazing! I recommend that if youre looking for great Venezuelan food in the DMV to check them out, you wont be disappointed! Oh and their staff are super nice and friendly :)

I had the Cuban sandwich.. the ham & cheese were fresh and tasty & the roast pork was fresh, moist & tender. My husband had beef & cheese empanada and a chicken & avocado empanada.. he liked the beef one, which I didnt taste because of an allergy. I tasted the chicken- it was chicken salad & was delicious! Biggest problem is trying to find a place to park. Ill be back & hopefully theyll have more cheese in next time.. yummy!

Growing up, American food is all Ive ever known....I came to Cafe Azul for the first time 4 and half years ago....first visit, I tried the empanadas...then the next time, an arepa...after that I was hooked lol I love this time of year the most because the Venezuelan holiday food is so addicting lol with the pan de jamon...hallacas (tamales) and the chicken salad....yum!

Best place to eat Venezuelan food around the Baltimore-DC area!!! I tried the cachapa, reina pepiada and pelua arepas and I was in heaven!! Not to mention the tequeños with a Malta beverage... you must try this place anytime soon, you wont be disappointed!

Beef empanadas are Aweeesome, fresh and crunchy with the green tasty dressing! It was the first time visiting this place and Im very happy to find a cozy family oriented cafe with kinds of food different from Mexican and Salvadorian foods around this area.
