Let me give you the real scoop on Aviation Deli, lets begin with the portions. The portions are disappointing to say the least and unless your willing to part with 10-15 dollars, or your on some kind of masochistic starvation diet you will more than likely walk away hungry just as I did. I was reading through some of the other reviews and they all point out great service? the extent of the service at Aviation Deli is you pay for your meal and then they call out your number in broken English, if this is your idea of great service then you should feel right at home. Now I have to admit that the food isnt bad, but its by no means GREAT! So unless your on your way to the airport and starving, or you work in one of the many business parks in the area, you might wanna think twice before going out of your way for this very average business park lunch stop.

The ingredients here and the recipes beat other local sandwich places EASILY. Ive tried Blumes and some others close by, but if you dont need food delivered, go here. Lunch menu is extensive and food is fantasic, and generally healthy. Prices are reasonable -- most sandwiches as $6 or so. Atmosphere is great for the lunch hour. Avacado fantasy wrap and Chicken sunshine wraps are my go-to choices. Wed & Fri they have MD crab soup, which is respectably good. They dont offer delivery, which is a bummer when youre too busy to leave the office, and no website. Dont call during the busy part of the day, 12-1, they will rarely pick up.

Came here for lunch today. Quite busy. This is definitely a hang out for the locals. No tourists here. Ordered the Pastrami on rye. Not bad. The rye bread wasnt as rye as I normally would like it. I much prefer a strong flavoured rye bread. I guess I got spoiled living in Prague that year. The sandwich came with swiss cheese and mustard, but didnt have a pickle. Thats why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The fries were pretty good. Crispy and large portions. I almost couldnt finish the fries. Almost. They had quite a large selection of sandwiches and wraps to choose from. I would definitely come here for lunch again.

Highly recommend anything w/ their turkey meat. All produce is very fresh! Fruit salad is very fresh even in winter. Fries are excellent as well! However, I dont recommend their turkey burger. It was a very thin pressed patty, not very flavorful. :0( I anticipated a thick freshly ground turkey burger, but was disappointed w/ the patty since everything else Ive ordered from their menu had been scrumptious. Portions and prices are very reasonable.

Galen Hackney below, obviously has an issue with Asian people running a business. Sure, they have an accent, but Ive been to the Aviation Deli many times and Ive never had any communication problem with them whatsoever. My orders come out within a few minutes, even during the busiest hours. My only recommendation is to arrive a bit before noon or after 1:30 in order to avoid lunch hours crowds. Food is great, and I plenty enough.

Get the Italian Omelette for breakfast, comes with homefries and two pieces of buttered white or wheat toast for somewhere around $7 or $8, pretty cheap when you see the amount of food. Everythings delicious but especially the Italian Omelette with sausage, melty, stringy provologne cheese, and crunchy green onions. I put ketchup on everything and its fantastic!

I go there mostly everyday on my lunchbreak because you cant find to many places that uses fresh ingredients for all that they serve, also you have a wide variety for breakfast & lunch, I havent been disappointed with anything that Ive ordered in the three in ah half years. The boss John makes you feel welcomed & comfortable, very nice guy.

I love this deli! Food is fantastic.. no matter what you get - sandwich, platter, wrap.. breakfast! Service is great, depending on the time there will be a wait but nothing crazy. And their Sweet Tea is on point!! Never had any issues such as not feeling full or food poisoning. I actually toss fries sometimes since they give so many! :)

I ordered a cheesesteak sub and it was presented on a hamburger roll, hardly no meat, Im like WTF! 10.32 for a combo! #waist SUBWAY is next door and has a 12" cheesesteak sub special for $6.99, but I wanted something different. I didnt even take a pic to post because Im so embarrassed. #theygotme

I have been coming here for years and love it. My office used to be within walking distance of the Deli and then my company was bought out and we moved 10 minutes away. I still go here about once a week and most of my coworkers love it too. Very friendly staff, even when theyre super busy.

Have never had a poor experience at Aviation. I have been eating there about twice a week for the past 6 months. The few times my order has not been completed to my satisfaction, theyve worked very hard to make me happy. Its my favorite breakfast and lunch spot around the airport

Really great deli. Stoped in here after a flight to grab a bite to eat. It was such a good deal and great food that I stopped in before my flight out a week later. Just watch out during lunch hours. It seems like the whole airport eats lunch here. The line can go out the doors.

Always excited to go here whenever I can! I almost always get the hot roast beef sandwich because the sandwich with the gravy and fries is almost sinful with how good it is! Planning on trying to get there today before they close since talking about it makes me want it again :)

Veronica and her staff are always friendly and smiling while they make your order. The New Yorker with hot corned beef and pastrami, Swiss, cole slaw and deli mustard on rye is my favorite. The hot roast beef or turkey with fries and gravy are a close 2nd.

Food and service are very good, only thing that I really have to say on a negative note is that when you order a cheesesteak usually you expect a sub not a sandwich, especially when its the price of an 8" sub. They are always, always packed full of people
