This is a pretty poor burger place, on several levels. 1) Food is low quality. The beef is generic, the chicken is pounded so thin it cooks dry, but the veggie burger is ok. Burgers come poorly assembled. 2) Timing is an issue. I know it doesnt take 60 minutes to cook 5mm thick slice of chicken. It takes about 3 minutes. And the location was not busy in terms of customers coming for take out or waiting in location for food. I did see a long line at the order counter, but oddly, it never moved while I was there... 3) cost. WAY overpriced. The cost per burger is probably a bit high for the mediocrity of the burger (though perhaps the standard beef burgers are fairly priced), but the fries? $2.39 for what is basically a small order of thin cut, greasy fries? the Smashfries, with rosemary, garlic and olive oil basically tasted like fries that got a stern look from some rosemary (but never the garlic) and the vegetable fries, for $2.99 is a small container of about 12 fried green beans and 5 fries slices of carrot. So if you want to pay 17 cents per vegetable fry, order this. but if not, Id skip the soggy vegetables. Anyway, a burger + fries is going to run you Additionally, the $1.40 cost for extras on the burgers is not high value. $1.40 of guacamole provides about 1tbsp of guac... which is about what youd pay for a cup or more in a store. I was very disappointed by my burger experience. I rarely order burgers out and prefer to make them at home. This will reinforce my desire to stay put when my desire for a burger rises.

Not worth the money. We went here yesterday to try this new burger place out. My group got 3 burger combos (includes fries and a drink), and my wife only ordered a black bean burger. The cost was over 40 dollars for 4 burgers, 3 fries and 3 drinks. Others on here are complaining that the service was slow. Ordering was slow, but the food came out almost instantly. Like McDonalds fast. I thought that was odd, because we are used to waiting for fresh burgers at for instance "Five Guys". The burgers were not memorable at all. The beef Pattys are really thin. Im not joking when I say I couldnt even taste the beef. My burger could of just been the toppings and no burger for all I knew, if I didnt see the patty. The fries are super thin cut, not my wife or my favorite. Like others said here, they dont really add much value. I do like that they offer a black bean burger, when so many other burger places dont offer a vegetarian option. After our meal none of us were impressed with these burgers. My brother in law commented that it is basically slightly better quality Fast Food. I agreed. For the cost of this meal, the value was just not there. We joked how their selling point is "smashing" the burger together and how weve always heard not to smash burgers. The result here is a dinky little beef patty, void of great burger taste, and forgettable. I wont be going back. Stick to Five Guys for a quick, fresh burger. 2 stars for quick service and for offering a veggie burger option, for my wife. Still not going back.

Yesterday, (11/26/2016) I was the only person in line at the order counter. The gentleman taking my order seemed distracted by something else, and half way through taking my order decided to walk away and discuss an issue with his female coworker at the next cash register. This made me upset - how rude, and what terrible customer service! When he returned to take my order, he could tell I was upset and acted like he was interested in taking my order. I almost walked out! Note to Smashburger: The person at the front taking customers orders "represents your business." I would suggest putting your best employees on the cash register, not your worst! Bad employees taking orders sends a very poor and rememberable message that customers will consider the next time they think about returning to your business. Personally, I probably will not return to your store again.

Ive been to this Smashburger several times in the past few months and had poor service each time. My standards are low and they have consistently underwhelmed me with their disorganization and apathy. My last to-go order ended with me eating my food standing there waiting 45+ minutes for a vanilla malt. The food is good but you definitely need to expect errors. Three out of the last four visits had something wrong, like a shake instead of a malt or the wrong toppings on the burger. Considering it costs $15 for a burger, fries and malt, I would expect my order to be right greater than 75% of the time, not 25% of the time. They also seem short staffed in the kitchen during busy times and the wait can be quite long.

I wanted to try what they became famous for so I ordered a Classic Smash. It was pretty tasty. Just way too pricey. Its better than McDs or BKing. But far from gourmet, which the price implies. One can easily make comparable burgers at home with minimal cooking skills and at a fraction the price. The fries are meh. The banana shake had very little banana taste. Now we also tried the Chicken Spinach & Goat Cheese. That was delicious! Easily one of my favorite up-scale fast food sandwiches ever. Ill definitely go back for this one, particularly. Staff was courteous and helpful. Dining area was clean. Im a fan. Just have to keep it to an occasional visit. Says my wallet.

Went Friday night 3/31 - not busy.. ordered 3 burgers 2 ff 1 smash fry & 2 bottled drinks. I didnt get to eat my dinner I bought (carryout-too far to take back). Cheese on the burger, could not eat-forgot the smash fries, and the bottle of diet coke I picked up had already been opened before purchase... never again. This is also in addition to the misspelling of a common name when taking order & immature staff giggling and acting like daycare kids... You expect all of the above from a McDonalds. No excuse here with a handful of customers in the store. We had a slightly better experience last visit & had given it a 2nd chance, maybe this is the norm?

Not impressed! Really shocked of the conditions on a Monday at 11:20am. 1. Cashier was talking on the phone while I ordered, and the Customers in front of me. 2. Floor is so greasy my feet, and chair, just sliiiide...... 3. Toilet Seat is broken & the RR is out of Toilet Paper - not a good way to be considering this is the condition BEFORE the Lunch rush. 4. The "Smash Fries" are stringy & near flavorless. On a positive note: 1. Easy Parking 2. Tasty Bacon 3. The seasoning of the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Smash Burger is great, but the texture is course. Honestly, thats all I can give them credit for at this point.

Ive been here twice in the last two months and the burgers are great. I cant speak to how the food was when the place first opened but now it is very good. My spinach and Goat cheese burger was great. Sweet potato fries were great also. My kids enjoyed them as well. As for people saying this place is more expensive than others I disagree. Burgers average from~$5- $7 and you can get a combo for less than $10. Obviously this is not McDonalds prices but its much less than if you want to Red Robin, Outback, etc. I will definitely continue to come here when I have a burger craving.
