My sister recommended eating here, as shes been several times in the past and enjoyed it. Five of us went to dinner at about 730 on Saturday evening. We were seated quickly, but the positive experience ended there. We had the misfortune of arriving behind a large baseball team. Having worked in food service, I was patient and understanding of that circumstance. However, three of the five meals we ordered had hair (or hairs) found on the plate - two separate wraps as well as the garlic bread served with the chicken Parmesan. We brought the hair to the waitress attention, and she promised to have someone come talk to us. That did not ever happen. We waited patiently for almost 30 minutes at the end of our meal to receive the check before approaching the front counter to ask for the manager. He did end up taking both wraps off the bill and giving us a 10% discount, but I was terribly dissatisfied with the service received and the nonchalance of the staff regarding the many hairs found in our food.

My family and I just witnessed a girl that works at the pizzeria touching frozen chicken, scratching the raw skin on her back, and then touching cooked food without washing her hands. This is discusting and a health hazard. I said something to the manager about contamination and he didnt care. His reply was "Im sorry you dont like it, but we have to touch the food". I understand that you cant wear gloves over a deep fryer or a grill and have to touch the food with your bare hands but you also have sinks to wash in between doing things like touching your bare back and making food in the kitchen. My best friend is allergic to poultry and if this were to have happened with her food, there would be an ambulance call. We will not be going back after 15 years of eating there which is a shame because we really liked their food.

We are from New York and also lived in West Palm Beach FL. And we tasted great Philly Steak sandwiches and pizza and this place I gave it one star just to post my review. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was dry, cheese was nonexistent and the bread the bread was hard as a rock. The pizza I asked for was a green pepper and onion with broccoli. Big mistake when he showed me the pizza it looked mouth watering looks can be deceiving what I thought was the extra cheese I asked for was about a cup of onion on each pizza and 6 pieces of small broccoli on each pizza. We ended up throwing the other half of the sandwich and pizza away. Never again next time Ill spend my money on papa Johns were I could get all the toppings I want on a whole large pie for half the price of what I payed for.

Cheese on pizza had slid all to one side when i recieved it! Asked for my pizzavto be well done and it was no where near well done. Driver forgot my soda. Called them to complain about pizza he said i had to send them back to get new ones which meant my kids had to wait even longer to eat and it was going on 8oclock. Driver never came right back with soda like she said she was. Had to cut the pizza dye to they dudnt do a good job slicing it. 44$ wasted

Since moving to Maryland from Texas, I never understood what the big deal about crab cakes was. But after eating one at Box Hill Pizzaria, I finally understand and I want more...from there. This place is new on the inside, efficient with a friendly staff, and everything Ive had there was good, with the exception of a salad that was basically iceburg lettuce and onions. The prices are a tad bit high, but I still recommend it.

The food is not bad. But, the cleanliness and sanitation of this establishment are horrid! I believe I saw one person with gloves on.. Everyone else prepared the food with their hands. I even have seen a lady lick sauce from her fingers after preparing a meatball sub and then answer the phone and went back to preparing the sub. Another employee was biting his nails while preparing pizza. I was utterly disgusted!

Ok so their food is better then good. Sometimes when its really busy its hit or miss. However, every time the crab cakes are INCREDIBLE!!! They are the best Ive had. Cant go wrong with them honestly. Also the staff is pretty nice and they do a military discount. All in all this is the best place for crab cakes and the best sub shop in the area. Ps- their pizza freaking amazing aswell.

A small town pizza shop that gives you a small town experience. I probably order here twice a week, and I keep giving them my business because of the service. The food is good, very good, but the service is great. Broiled crab cakes should be Marylands Best! Pizza, pizza, pizza... tomato sauce, mushrooms, pepperoni, onions all taste fresh... Going to place an order now.

The crab cakes and fries are great however the dirty tables, walls & floors, dripping air conditioning ceiling vent and the multitude of knats & flies sort of ruined it. The place needs a thorough and routine cleaning. We saw many employees just standing around and it wasnt busy. We saw one employee just standing at the back door leaving it wide open for bugs to come in.

I came to Maryland to find what a real crab cake should taste like. I asked around and, based on recommendations, I tried four different places from fine dinning to casual; all said they had the best. But they were wrong. This place is the best. Dont let the pizza parlor or shopping center location fool you. Dont judge this book by its cover. The crab cakes are amazing!

Floor was unswept with a FF smashed in the middle of it, bathroom was just as dirty, tables felt sticky as did the menu, the walls in our booth were in need of a good cleaning, come to think about it the whole restaurant needed to be scrubbed and a paint job would do wonders!!! Pizza was good but lack of cleanliness was the spoiler.

Friendly staff, clean place. Unfortunately the pizza is underdone and Im almost positive they use provolone or some other cheese that doesnt pair well with pizza sauce (just.... why?). The wings were swimming in a butter sauce and unfortunately not crispy at all.

Got lunch special and it sucked. My eggplant sub was greasy, seems like they had deep fried the frozen eggplant. Did not taste good, wasted half of it. Nothing seemed fresh. We have stopped getting pizza too from here. Cheese has an after taste.

Great crab cakes (every one has an opinion about who has the best crab cakes, but these are my wifes favorite, but not mine). Great pizza with more topping coverage than your cheap chain pizza. Staff always seem like they like working there.
