Roaches... German roaches. If thats not enough for you, google them. They are the invasive type, which get into everything. All of your food from this place has had german roaches in it at some point while being in the store. These are not the oriental roaches, which we affectionately call water bugs. I sat at a high-top, smack dab in the middle of the store, during a Friday night around 9pm. A german roach ran right under my feet, and under the neighboring high-top. All roaches dont like light, activity, and noise. If they are running under my feet during a Friday night, they have big issues. Oh, and the health department closes them regularly. The city posts it on their website. And... their sushi fish is below sushi grade. The rice isnt acidified correctly. The bartender cusses like no one else is in the store. Poor hygiene. Poor food. Poor customer service. The neighborhood wonders how it stays open.

Word of Warning: Avoid this joint! First, a 12-year old boy waited on me. If that wasnt shocking enough the restaurant family members including the wait staff sat around the dining area watching TV like it was their living room. My salad order arrived drenched in dressing rendering it inedible. A restaurant worker then proceeded 2 tear up cardboard boxes directly behind me. The soup & salad was very difficut to eat. I had to request a knive & fork in order to cut up pieces of food in able to digest. Asian Taste is not a properly run restaurant. How could it be when you put young family members in charge of customer service. Not an advisable practice in this country or elsewhere. My best advise is to stay clear of this poorly run eatery. There are many other good ones to choose.

Been living in Baltimore many years now and always felt like we couldnt find a good chinese restaurant. We tried this place last night and was a happy surprise. Ordered General Tsos chicken, chicken with broccoli, egg roll, sweet and sour soup. Just had the soup the next day and it was yummy. lots of mushrooms and chicken pieces. One complaint was that I ordered it spicy level hot and it wasnt spicy enough. We had friends over who ate from the General Tsos chicken and the chicken with broccoli. They both thought the food was good. Definitely gonna try this place again. Probably my wife will order the tofu with black bean sauce and Ill try the sushi. Happy to finally have found a place in Baltimore where we can order Chinese food!

On 11/10/2015 I ordered a side of scallops. You get 10 for 4.95. That right there should have been a red flag but I thought, lets giveem a try. On the menu they are listed as fried scallops. I asked if they could come plain instead of fried because I didnt want all the breading. I was told no. Once I received them I quickly realized why. The first thing I did was peel off the pound of breading they put on each scallop only to find that they were not real scallops. It was rolled up material, maybe white fish like they use for imitation crab? Not happy! They were gross, and tasted nothing like scallops. And of course, there really isnt much point in arguing with them. Sooo...... Buyer beware, FAKE SCALLOPS!

A generous 2 star review...the sushi is pretty bad here. Actually all the food they have is pretty bad. I rarely eat here and when I do I usually regret it afterward. The chef specialty rolls are the only ones worth the effort to chew. Their delivery guy also has a serious attitude problem. He will make you come outside your building to do business with him. I read the "Asian-Tasteless" review and apparently that reviewer said he will make up delivery charges. If you dine in though, the atmosphere is okay, Ive taken a date there...but only because that is the only place with "atmosphere" around this area. (Too bad, she didnt like the food either :P)

HAIR IN FOOD AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Dont eat here! I ordered 2 meals from Asian taste yesterday. I ate one yesterday and planned to eat one for dinner tonight. When I went to eat the Lo Mein, I found 2 hairs - not mine- in the Lo Mein. I immediately called the restaurant to let them know and to see if I could get a store credit and they REFUSED to give me full redit saying that I was trouble and that I should have let them know last night. I explained that I did not eat the Lo Mein last night and let them know as soon as I discovered something wrong with the food. They refused to make it right and I will never order from them again.

Ordered California and dynamite rolls. Food was very fresh and delicious tasting but a bit pricey for what should be a lunch meal menu. Only negative comments would be I was waited on by a young lady no older than 12 or so and they had what seemed to be another 3 other children in the restaurant side that would be considered unprofessional to some. They were all polite and not a problem for me. Again, the sushi was delicious. The sushi chef did wash his hands and wore gloves before, which is a critical requirement for me. Id come again for sure.

Tried this place for the first time tonight and probably wont be going back anytime soon. Got Pad Thai and it was...very bad. The whole dish tasted like dirty grill, totally inedible. It was essentially greasy Chinese food (which is good sometimes, but not at all what you expect when you order Pad Thai). Was the first time in a long time Ive thrown a whole meal away. People working there were super nice, though.

Placed a large order on 8/18/2015 around 6pm. Order # 6 The chicken chow mein combo was very mushy and did not have a good taste. Ordered sweet and sour chicken combo and the rice was unflavored and mushy. Ordered shrimp lo-mein combo and the whole dinner was very bland and unappetizing. We have been a long time patrons of Asian Taste and unfortunately will probably not be returning. Very disappointed.

While their phone customer service could use some work(!!!), the food is always delicious. I always get a tofu dish and the tofu is always perfectly crispy. Usually, we order carryout, but when we do eat in, the servers are very on point. The place is clean and our carryout boxes are filled to the brim. Overall, the food is consistently great and my girlfriend and I always love going.

I order here because there are no other chinese restaurant around. 1)food does not taste good. 2)couple of occations found weird things in the food like plastic, wood pieces. bottom line, It started to worry me because recently I got really sick from eating their food. I will never order from them again. I dont know what they put in their food or do they even handle food properly?

Absolutely terrible. I moved to the area about 4years ago and this place used to be my go to Asian catch all restaurant... Never again. Hadnt ordered from here in about 5-6months and figured Id give it another try after the lack luster food the last time. Didnt think it could be that bad, so wrong...so very very wrong. Get it together Asian Taste!!!! Wtf!?

I used to really like eating here. That is, until the health department closed them for rodent and insect infestation and poor handling and storage of food products... just to name a few. Some people complained of finding roaches in their food. They just recently re-opened but I WILL NEVER eat from here again.
