I couldnt really review the food, because none of us ever got any. We arrived at 7:00 pm. At about 7:25, someone finally showed up to take our drink order. At about 7:40, we were finally given menus, after we asked for them. At about 8:00, the server came back around, and we flagged her down and said we were ready to order. She said "Uh, you were going to order some food?" I said "No, we were just going to sit here and look at each other." So she hastily wrote our food order down, and disappeared. Over the next hour, we periodically asked about the status of our food order, to be told "it will be out shortly". I had to get up and go refill my own drink. At 9:00, we announced that if our food was not brought out in five minutes, we were leaving. So then our server came back and said that apparently, our food orders were lost. So we told her never mind, we would just pay for our drinks and go. At 9:10, nobody had come back to give us our check for the drinks, so we sought out the manager, who stated that there was no option to pay at the counter; We should go back to the table and someone would be right with us to bring us our checks. Instead, we started walking out. Whereupon, the manager asked us to please leave a tip for the server, for her non service over the previous two hours. Needless to say, I cant comment on the food, but I CAN comment on the service, or complete lack of.

I love the atmosphere and that is where it stops. I use to love coming here sadly i cant say that any more. The food is nothing to write home about its salty and over cooked and definatly to expencive for what you get. But on top of that the service lately has been awful. I mean like you would get better servics at a fast food resturaunt. I being a server understand that mistakes happen but the servers just dont care and its obvious. We usually come for lunch but since we always have had such a bad experiance with the same day server we always get we decided to come for dinner. Its been worse. He put the wrong order in we also ordered an extra side of fries when we put the app in for the baby we reminded him 3 times when the food came out we of course had our burger and cheese frys and i asked again what about the other order of frys that were placed before the meal... He replied i thought you wanted a side with your burger. We ordered a coke we got water. We ordered our one refil on our queso app we got salsa. Once our burger did come out he forgot the ranch we placed with the order and by the time he finally came back the food was cold and we didnt want our frys anymore.

The one consistent thing w this place is horrible service! You will wait forever for the food only to have it cold or incorrect. After 45 minutes my burger was the wrong one n when she brought the correct one out it had peppers from the incorrect burger on it aka "bun n topping swap"... NO manager to speak w and when we got the receipt it showed she ordered the wrong burger after she said she picked up the wrong burger by mistake! .. NOT one apology. They comped my burger but I sat and eat by myself because my 2 friends had to take their food to go because it took sooo long. 2 adjacent tables got up and walked out after they witnessed our great experience. I have eaten here 6 times and its always something but never enjoyable. ... sad... blind management and oblivious and unconcerned staff!..

Love the atmosphere & the staff...not the food or mixed drinks. The $10 small portion of calamari was overcooked & chewy. The seafood platter, $18 for 2 pieces of fried fish (one of them smaller than a Canes chicken strip) & maybe 5 fried shrimp, oh and fries, but I ordered potato salad, not fries & I never received the salad or toast. Heard the burgers were great. The rum punch had little or no alcohol at all, so I paid $7 for fruit punch. Then I ordered a Marley, really yummy, but $8 and little to no alcohol. Stick with the beer. Our waiter, Alex, was fantastic!! We had a party of 18 & he was great! I didnt go inside, but the atmosphere on the patio is wonderful...live music, nice view, lots of seating, and fans!! Ill go back, but Ill stick to burgers & beer.

Horrible service. I was seated and told my server would be right with me. She never came. The restaurant was empty and not one person came to ask me for a drink or my order. The employees kept awkwardly walking by avoiding eye contact with me. I finally just got up and left. Ive never done that before, but this had to be the worst service I ever had. I even thought this could just be a fluke. Now that I have read other reviews complaining about the same exact thing I know its just this horrible restaurant. I advise everyone to avoid this place.

The beach house has improved since I ate here last. I have to say the food and the service are much better. We love the sandbox for the kids to play. I got the pulled pork nachos and 2 people could share them. They came on a baking sheet. They have an in house coffee shop. I got the white chocolate Frap, it was do good.. I only have 1 complaint...the lack of bathrooms. They have 1 unisex bathroom which is gross. It was about as clean as a port a potty.

The Beach House is a great place to get a bite to eat and watch a game or enjoy live music. I normally get the veggie panini with sweet potato fries and its delicious. Friendly staff and relaxing environment. Im not sure about a previous review claiming they had to get their own drink when the drink machine is in the kitchen behind employee-only doors. Anyway, they have indoor and outdoor seating according to the weather, and you can bring your dogs!!

The atmosphere was incredible! Unfortunately, the food was not worth the money and it took 2hours to get the food. The service was slow. Our drinks came after we were nearly done with our food. To be fair, it was the day after Christmas but that they were understaffed is an understatement. It was an overall unpleasant experience only tempered by the wonderful weather for sitting outdoors.

Great casual bar/restaurant next to Lake Pontchartrain. Was the only place in the area that let me hang out with my dog on the patio. Quick service although place was not packed when I went. Met a great couple outside that I talked with who showed great southern hospitality. Food not anything spectacular but definitely good and worth the price. Would stop back in again if in Mandeville.

Service was horrible. Food took a very long time. We spilled a drink in the table and our waitress was at the nexymt table bussing and didnt even ask if we need napkins. Another server came to that table to wipe it and I had to ask to use her towel. Food wasnt worth the price. Great atmosphere and nice kids area. If you want a place to have a drink and visit its a good place to go.
