Yes, its more expensive than dominoes. The crust is not a typical pale white flour though. Its a little more brown in color without tasting like wheat(no idea how this happens) but also has a nice flavor you wouldnt get with a New York or Chicago style. Ingredients are high quality, and I feel theres plenty of them. Also has a competitive happy hour, putting high quality drinks on sale and discounts on most of the apps. Theres also something here for the beer nerds. Out of about 15 handles they usually have at least 8 that are local, in addition to some specialty craft. Thats right, just like the pizza, its high quality offerings. As for service, I generally get expedient personable service at the bar.

This place is NOT all its hyped up to be. The service is slow and the pizza isnt any better than Dominos or Papa Johns. The beer selection is good, though. Ive been there a few times, and its been about the same each time. The service isnt bad, but none of the waiters have been terribly attentive. The pizza always takes a while---at least 30 minutes, but Ive waited up to an hour. Once, my pizza came out burned, and when I asked for the manager he was very short with me and was less than helpful. Also, its entirely too expensive for what you get. Youd be better off with the 555 deal from Dominos.

Im disappointed. As a gluten free vegan I had high expectations for the pizza. I ordered the gluten free veggie with vegan cheese pizza and I could barely taste (or see) the tomato sauce, which was a shame because what I was able to taste was good. There was shredded basil and shrunken tomatoes and a few pieces of bell pepper on a small pizza for 15+ bucks. The crust tasted like cardboard. Guess Ill just have to make my own pizza from now on.

Really good food, fun and friendly staff. This restraunt has some great food. They are known for their pizzas, but their sandwiches and wings are great too! The staff at this restraunt was sure to point this out and offer suggestions. They also notified me it was happy hour and that drinks AND appetizers were half off with the exception of wings. In the end it was a great experience.

I have done take out in the past and it wasnt the greatest. Decided to give it another try ordered Holy shiitake and philosopher. Both were really good. The pizza was definitely better than in the past. Theres no other place like this on the northshore. Pizza wasnt greasey, it even was just a good reheated in the oven the next day. We are looking forward to our next visit.

I have yet to have anything less than a 5 star experience at this Mellow Mushroom location. Their weekly happy hour special is great! 1/2 price off on any beverage behind the bar (including bottles of wine) and 1/2 priced appetizers until 6:30. My favorite items are the meatballs, Capri, calzones, and or course the pizza. Highly suggested.

Best food, prepared from scratch. Just order a drink (or two) while waiting for the food. But, omg, the food is so incredibly good and youll have to take half of it home for dinner or the next day because the servings are HUGE. Did I mention the mellow atmosphere? Slow and low baby. All day all night alright!

Excellent restaurant. Staff here is very friendly and appropriately attentive. Mellow Mushroom has great food and drink options. There is a bar in the middle surrounded by the restaurant area. The bar doesnt interfere with the restaurant area so dont worry about bringing kids.

The food is always good but the last two times we have waited for to goes over an hour. We even call it in 30 mins before arriving. This last pizza came out an hour after our phone call and wasnt correct! I love this joint but damn get it together!

If u dont like the atmosohere dont go to mellow mushroom!!!!!!. If u cant read their site it clearly states that each restaurant is different and unique with its own style...not 4 all u squares out there! This place is totally rad dude!

Such a fun place. If you are looking for something to do on Tuesday nights, check out their live trivia game. It starts at about 10pm and is a hosted event. Bring your own team but leave your cell phones behind :)

Always great food,drinks,and atmosphere. Only negative thing is they are normally very busy so expect wait, the food does take a while to get, and sometimes theyre so busy they forget your appetizers :(

We love the restauranr food,, but the waitress messed up two out of three parts of our meal, so we gave up. Had it been busy, we could have understood. With only 3 tables, we did not.

Tasty pizza. Good atmosphere, nice place to bring the whole family. A lot of tvs, most playing sports. Some individual tables have their own small tv. Nice drink selection.
