Conclusion: Delicious steak, friendly staff, will go back. Details: Our Über had to circle the full parking lot a few times to see where to drop us off because the restaurant didnt really stand out. We walked in and realized nobody else had this problem because it was packed. I had reservations, but still had to wait about 10ish minutes to be seated. The dining room could have stood to be slightly less bright. We started off with a half dozen grilled oysters with bacon sprinkled on top. They were good, and the left over cheese and juice was soaked up by the bread provided. My wife and I both got the steak and they were perfectly cooked (medium rare+) and seasoned deliciously. The steaks came with mashed potatoes that I added a dollop of butter to and enjoyed. We had a bottle of wine that was tasty, but I think next time I will bring my own bottle and just pay the corking fee of $20. We went for my wifes birthday and Im happy with the choice to go here.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge. Im not sure I can find adequate words! Lets start with the appetizers - their chargrilled oysters are divine. I kid you not, if you love oysters, you need to go here. Secondly, the cedar roasted salmon is so flaky and cooked to perfection every time Ive had it. You can tell they care about what is coming out of their kitchen. The staff is super friendly & well trained. I love it here. Highly recommend!

The food and service are consistently good. The steak and 1/2 lettuce with home made bleu cheese dressing is a favorite as are all the salads.
