Well here we go. First off we got there at 11:00am (opening time), wanted to get there early, heard about the lines, when we walked in, a young lady said were not ready yet, it will be about 20mins, another young man came along after 5mins and told us to go on and have a seat, another young lady come up to take our order, after looking at the menu for 30sec, no big deal, so then she starts to tell us about the food, and it was really sounding great, my brother ordered the lobster dinner and I order a fish sandwich with gumbo, there was not salt and pepper on the table, I asked for some pepper and they went back to the kitchen and got a small little cup with some pepper powder in it, little funny, but not the end of the world, so I went to eat my gumbo, looked for a spoon, no spoon, I asked for a spoon, "sorry sir we dont have any spoons", Really, so I ate gumbo with a fork, oh and in the gumbo, was peel and eat shrimp, so I had to dig the shrimp out, peel them, and throw them back into my gumbo, now to the fish, I read in the reviews where someone said the fish was like fish sticks and the reply back from the owner was all fish is weighed out to 7oz, if it is, the scales are wrong or they are weighing it with all the batter on it, it was some very very thin fillets. Now to my brothers lunch he got the lobster dinner because that Guy Fieri from the Food Network, Dinners, Dives, Drive throughs (or whatever its called), and Guy said it was the best hed ever had. Well Im here to tell ya, there is no way in hell she fed that to Guy, I looked nothing like what Guy had in the video, so I call BS. They need someone in there that knows how to run a restaurant, and quit asking those kids to run things, they dont have a clue, (very nice kids, but they are kids with no restaurant experience). Now heres the kicker to this whole story, IT WAS JUST UNDER $60.00 for two people for lunch. Save your money go to KingFish! I really wanted to like it too! and Im not writing this because I cheap, Ill drop 400.00 or 500.00 at Ruth Chris or Jeff Rubys so its not the money, but I do feel like we were ripped off, my brother or me will not be back! Sorry.

The Seafood Lady is a magician. Seriously the best seafood outside the Gulf Coast. Louisiana is my second home and this place makes me feel like Im back in New Orleans. The restaurant is located on the side of a mini-mall on Oak Street. Parking is on the side of the building, inside the tall black fence. I really liked the interior. It was decorated well, and again, gave off a coastal feel. It was pretty small though, and there were about 15 people in line ahead of me, so I decided to take my food to go. Now for the food. After a lot of thought, my friend and I decided on the full shrimp plate, a crabcake, and crab fries (I think theyre now called Seafood Lady Fries). I dont normally like fries; the Seafood Lady Fries are definitely an exception. I was kind of leary at first, but the reviews on here got it right. They are amazing. The sauce they are covered in is perfect with the crab and potato. Everything else was incredible. Im not huge on fried food, so I was really happy to hear that you can choose between Cajun boiled and fried shrimp, or half and half. Needless to say, both the fried and boiled were amazing. The sides were all delicious, too. Seasoned to perfection. Surprisingly to me, the corn on the cob was my favorite. It was definitely the best, most flavorful corn Ive ever tasted. I asked for no sausage with mine, and I was surprised to hear the employee ask what else Id like extra to cover it. Im used to restaurants taking off the portion you dont want and charging you the same, regardless. Very nice. Service was friendly and fast, which must be rough, considering how busy this place stays. After ordering, I got my food in less than 10 minutes. There have been a few new items added to the menu (Ill post a picture), so I cannot wait to make it back and try it all!

Today had an impromptu dinner at Seafood Lady. I was very excited to try them after hearing all the good things. However, it was far from good. It was Red Lobster prices with McDonalds Service. They are way over priced for the service we received. Dirty tables, plastic silverware, hot sodas that came out of the fridge. Then we ordered our food, which came with two sides, oh and there was an up charge for almost every side item. Despite the fact that the menu stated two sides came with virtually every meal. We waited 45 minutes for our food. The drinks were 20oz bottles without any refills and were not even cold. They did come out of a fridge but were still hot. When I asked if we could have a cup with ice I was told they didnt have ice. Really a restaurant that doesnt have ice? Thanks to the manager who kindly brought cups of ice out and did apologized it help a little. The tables were dirty and sticky as the employees were to busy checking their cell phones to keep up with keeping the place clean. Then we finally get our food. The caujn macaroni was cold and it took an additional 20 minutes to remove the shells from the shrimp. Everything was soaked in butter with Old Bay seasoning on it. So all the food tasted the same. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This is my opinion. Next time we will spend our hard earned money elsewhere. Its just not worth it. Highly disappointed, that was my first and last time eating there. Oh, and my fiances meal was bad too!

This is my first time ever leaving a review. Me and my family of six drove from Florida because we saw it on triple D. I dont read reviews before going to a place because I dont want my opinion to be influenced. If I look past the fact there was a staff member whos pants was sagging and you could see his draws because he was standing in front of our table changing the TV it was ok. If I look past the fact the cashier was chewing gum the whole time smacking it was ok. If I look past the fact it was only one cold sprite in a can and it was six of us it was ok. If I look past the fact the cashier said we can have hot sodas because there is no ice and no cups it was ok. If I look past the fact my kids food was to spicy it was ok. Me personally when I pay my money and this is just me i want to enjoy everything I dont want to go to a place to eat and the food is good and the service is bad or the service is great and the food is bad. The fact I saw the place on TV I held them to a higher standard the prices wasnt a issue because we pay those prices everywhere its six of us. I did read some of the reviews before i posted this all I have to say is everyone has their on opinion and is entitled to it. Thats why you have to see for yourself. Unfortunately the customer service killed it for me. I had to pick one star because zero isnt a option . Good luck
