I took my mentee because she wanted Mexican. Im not super familiar or well versed with Mexican food so take this review with a grain of salt. The service was good, server was attentive. She stayed on top of our drink refills and made sure we always had chips and salsa. They bring you a basket when you sit down to tie you over until the meal. Prices are reasonable for a Mexican restaurant. I got the chicken tortilla soup and it was very filling. My little got the quesadilla and she seems to like it ok. Portions were generous. I got the chicken tortilla soup. Portion was good, pretty satisfying and filling. Overall I didnt think it was anything spectacular, I would come back to eat if it was convenient and I was craving Mexican.

Fast, good, cheap and big portions says it all. I have been coming here ever since they opened when I was a kid. Not living in Louisville anymore I still come here when I come to visit family. My wife who is from Texas even said that this place has the best chicken tacos she has ever had. I wish they were by my house here in Virginia because the Mexican restaurants here are not that greatm

Great service and atmosphere. Food was subpar. I got tacos and quesadillas, quesadillas are good anywhere - the beef in the tacos was delcious, but too watery, it made my shell fall apart. Bf got fried burritos and refried beans - said the beans were nearly flavorless, the burritos werent even fried, and everything was swimming in liquid. If Im in the area, Id rather stop by Qdoba.

Horrible business practices...I ordered chicken tortilla soup and found out they put rice in it. I took it back 5 minutes later and told them that I can not eat rice. When I got home I barely got any soup I got a bowl full of rice. I paid $7 for a bowl full of something that I cant eat.

I have lives less than a mile away for almost two years now. Never knew this place was here! Been here about 3 times now and it never dissapoints friendly staff nice amd fun atmosphere so as long as they are here ill be once a week!

Small maybe 15 tables. Quaint family atmosphere. Service is quick, food as expected. Beer cheap and cold. No bar no 5 stars! Worth a visit.

Lackluster overall. There are dozens of Mexican restaurants in Louisville. Almost all of them would be a better pick than this one.
