Big servings of horrible food. The lettuce and tomatoes smelled like they were bad. The "Authentic" Mexican white cheese, I believe was the jar Tostito brand. Horrible! The floors were greasy, the bathrooms were nasty smelling. I threw my meal away because it tasted so bad. There was nothing Authentic about this place... Skip to place and go next door... McDonalds...I make better salsa in my kitchen. An all around gross experience.

I couldnt be anymore disappointed. I have supported them through their downgrade in quality and size and rising prices for over a decade, and I just cant anymore. They have crossed the point of no return. They are so greedy and now sell burritos that are barely bigger than a Taco Bell meximelt for $7!!! Ive never wanted to go inside because its disgusting, so I stick to the drive-thru. However, at this point, I will never go back.

I moved here from southern california and was looking for real mexican food. this had to be the worst. I ordered a carne asada burrito and a quesadilla (for my kids) the carne asada was so nasty and seasoned with salt and peper only and they didnt even know what a quesadilla was we had to tell them. If you dont know what real mexican food is than it might be good. but for me it was HORRIBLE!

This amazing establishment has saved me from the worst of hang overs. I can get an abnormal amount of booze and be sober because this place gives me the beautiful burritos I crave after a drunken night connecting with my friends. Thank you for the memories, LA Bamba. Your salsa accompanies reruns of Futurama perfectly. You are gods/goddesses among men/women like a drunken dream <3 Live on.

This restaurants had potential to be a homerun if the food and service was better. I always try to find those hole in the wall restaurants that look like a dump but the food and service is just amazing this place fell short of that experience big time The food was okay but not worth the money I spent on it. I probably wouldve been as satisfied by going to Taco Bell.

La Bamba (Burritos as Big as your Head!) is excellent for what it is. If you need an affordable, delicious, and authentic late-night Mexican fix, this divey but genuine and grubby taco shop is your ticket! Just be sure you dont mind leaning over the passenger seat if you decide to drive through the drive through since the window is on the opposite side as normal!

My first visit was ok, food was good. Came back for a second visit and the customer service was horrible. The cook called me Chiquita on the low, thinking I didnt understand them. Laughing and giggling as they prepared my food. And they didnt even give me the right amount of change back. You gotta watch them disrespectful bastards.

screw taco bell and qudoba, try La Bamba open late til 4 am most days they literally have burritos as big as your head, believe me you will be full when you leave, try it once you will be hooked. If you want awsome mexican food cooked fresh in a great local setting in the middle of the highlands go to la bamba

I am a la bambas lover..Been to all of them. This was the last location i went to and it was ok because I was dissapointed with the salsa.. The red/brown salsa was significantly different (muck thicker and tasted different) than all the other locations. My favorite thing is the sauce and it wasnt there.

Not very good who did not taste authentic as I thought might be good if you were just drunk after you got out of the bar otherwise I dont recommend this place their salsa was terrible it tastes like it came out of a can will never go there again I got sick after I ate there I didnt expect that

Most people that sing La Bambas praises have never had "real" mexican food. The person that moved here from So. Cali and I (lived in Dallas for over 20 years) have. Believe me when youve had "real" mexican food youll know. Food wasnt THAT bad, but Burritos As Big As Your Head is a laugh.

Best thing to try here are their tamales, Closer to authentic Mexican food than most, when I want something really greasy, I eat the chorizo tacos with extra cheese and some sour cream... its not for the faint of heart or those looking out for the health of their heart.

No frill Mexican food that has become a much loved Highlands late night spot for more than a decade. Nothing like a tasty burrito and a cold cup of horchata after a night out in the bars and clubs - or maybe the morning after.
