Got two mezza platters w my kid today after I picked her up from school. You pick 3 apps and thats your mezza. So she got grape leaves, hummus and pita chips n salsa. I had baba ganoush, falafel and hummus. Everything tasted off. I enjoy this style of food typically, but not today. The oil they used to make the falafel mustve been old. The grape leaves tasted strange. The baba ganoush was strange looking and tasting. Our waitress was nice enough, but really didnt get the whole service thing. There were 4 tables and they staggered in at different times. Why then would you not check to see if I need another drink or how the food is? Why would you not notice that I barely ate anything you brought me? You offered a box. Instead you talked to another table of young people that I suspect you knew until a lady with two kids yelled across the room for service, not exaggerating. "Excuse me! Excuse me! Would you come take our order?!" This with 4 total tables one had their check paid preparing to leave and me with my food already.

Lets cut the nonsense of all these reviews who were probably done by the manager at Eat a Pita. This place has got to be kidding me. I ordered a chicken shwarma sandwich, and literally had to look for 5 minutes inside the pita for a single piece of chicken, I mean is this a joke. I wish I could post a picture on here. The pita was covered in lettuce and diced tomatoes. If you want a lettuce and tomato on a cheap piece of pita bread then this is the place, but no lie I had to ask the server if there was any chicken on the sandwich, because I couldnt find it. I understand a new business needs to make money, but this isnt the way to bring in new customers. I miss the old restaurant that was there called Zaytun, they gave you at least some chicken in the sandwich. If you are looking for real Mediterranean food you probably want to pass on this, youre basically buying lettuce & diced tomatoes and very cheap 20 cent pita bread. Will not go here again! Sad & disappointed, but go experience it for yourself to see what you think.

Food is amazing, but the owner Moe has lost myself as customer due to his mouth. I have ordered online several times to have the food sent to my office. I work for a law firm so my lunches are are and in between. After a year of ordering, all the sudden, they can do longer delivery to me without having $50 min plus the $7 delivery charge. When I called the store to ask why after the very rude voicemail I received from Moe, I was informed that it has always been like that, I was just getting lucky. Who gets "lucky" when workers have called to let me know the delivery would be longer then what was quoted online?? Never again will I eat here, and everyone that I have told to try it, will be told to never eat there as well.

I was reading some of the comments and I am just taken back by the one that is complaining about the lack of chicken. You can take a picture of it but you cant tell the manager about it? Looks like someone just wants to complain on line to get attention because if you click on Jan you can go and see that all she does is bad reviews for almost everyone! Jan, do you need a hug? Either way Eat A Pita may be a little new and may not have perfect service yet but the food is Awesome! I have never had a bad item on the menu and will continue to eat there while they grow into one of the best places to eat in the Highlands! Keep doing what your doing guys!!!

aladdin salad + chicken is amazing. honestly ZAD AND GRAPE LEAF ( esp GRAPE LEAF ) HAVE BEEN my favorite middle eastern grub eateries for years in this city until now. the food is healthy and tasty and flavorful....its amazing but EAT A PITA where its located and how it has just increased their quality...is my tops for a quick....relatively inexpensive meal that makes you full. the Aladdin salad + chicken + pita is THE BEST dish in the city of Louisville if you ask me. great service. great atmosphere. and the MOST AMAZING MUSIC that they stream. love the middle eastern music they have with those beats!

While I really enjoy their food and think its a value, I was less than happy as a customer when I walked in the door at 9:07p to be told that they are closed. Their website, and everywhere else online shows their hours closing at 10p. Not to mention the doors were still unlocked for patrons to come in. I get some businesses change from summer to winter hours, but its probably a better practice to make the change on your website, etc. at the same time. No dinner, wasted gas, and a half hearted apology. Tip: call before wasting your time because you cant rely on electronic means of verifying hours.

I got a gyro each for myself and my husband. We ordered Greek style but when we got it opened at home only one was Greek style. that was disappointing. We also each ordered olives and there was only one container of olives. I am not sure if they did not put 2 in the bag or they expected us to share. either way the gyros were so big the small number of olives were not noticeable. The Gyros themselves were huge and delicious. We loved them I would order from there again but make sure you check your order for accuracy if you are not eating in the shop.

Great looking menu (available online). It worth a stop if you see something you like. Its an inexpensive dive and I think the food is a good value. I ate at a slow time, yet service was not the greatest (missing and forgetting items)... it felt like someone who was not cut out to be a service volunteered to help out in a pinch. My rating is mediocre, but that could have just been an off-night... it shouldnt stop anyone from visiting.

Eat a pita has amazing Greek food. I just ate there with my boyfriend and we both loved our dinners! I had the falafel entree (which is a ton of food) with a side of vegetables. Everything on that plate was absolutely delicious and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. My boyfriend got the chicken gyro and said the chicken was very tender and tasted great. Please give this place a try, I know I will be back in the future!

We stopped here on a whim one day in Louisville. Had never been here, but found it while searching GPS for ideas. My party of 3 were excited to try it out & it didnt disappoint. I ordered the gyro, my girlfriend ordered the Parmesan Pita, and my daughter ordered the teriyaki pita. Everyone loved their food & the service was great. Highly recommend. Would eat here again. The gyro was the best Ive ever had.
