Arrived at R Coffeehouse before 10pm on a Friday planning to pick up a brownie or two and enjoy them with my date there or at home, only to be told they were closing. It was 9:52 when we got back in our car to leave, which is 1 hour before Google puts them at closing on a Friday night, and 2 hours before their own website puts them at closing. Very disappointed for personal reasons (the brownie was meant to be a celebratory nightcap), and extremely put off by the situation. We chose to go here rather than someplace else due to the advertised closing time of other dessert places, and will certainly not be choosing to do so again.

I have been coming here for years. The staff are warm and welcoming and always remember me no matter how long Ive been away. The food is always fresh and the drinks always great. Local artist put there painting etc on the wall most of which are really good. Come give them a try you are sure to have a good time especially on the weekends. Great for families. Update-Went tonight and got the tuna salad sandwich. Omg. Amazing and the musicians playing blues were really good too. I always love coming here. I have never had a bad experience. Defiantly give them a try if you havnt been. You wont regret it.

Drip Coffee isnt bad this is the third try, and the first time it has tasted like coffee house instead of gas station coffee. My lunch "entree" was a nice snack, not very filling and Im little. Prices are high on drinks as well, $3.50 for a 16 oz latte before flavoring, but that seems to be the trend in new shops in town. Apparently they think this is Seattle without the quality of coffee... Its a decent stop in Riverside, away from downtown traffic but, I wouldnt drive across town to get something here. Its a local place serving decent coffee and worth a try if youre in the area.

Love the atmosphere and the service is very friendly. Loved the jazz when sitting outside but too loud inside. The tee selection was slim and the only black tea was earl gray, so I had water. Hade the breakfast tacos and they were only okay. The tortillas were not very good which really brought the meal down. Regular coffee was only okay but the funky monkey coffee was really good. The tree hugger was also good but half the tortilla was left on the plate

I will say that I loved it because this is definitely an up and coming place that needs to be supported. The people were friendly and the atmosphere was cool. It reminds me of something close to the days of the Bohemian Bean or the Juggernaut. Good community vibe and the coffee was good enough for the price. I had two pastries and they fit the bill. Try it out and support a local business that is contributing to the process of making Wichita a decent city.

Great coffee house (literally)! I dont go here often, but when I do the experience is great. From meeting random new people, to the spontaneous live music which is really just like jam sessions, to just coming here to enjoy coffee, lunch, PIE and get some work done on the laptop or read a book. Its a great all around place, with some outdoor seating too. Its also a very bike friendly area.

Our band, Roxanne and the Toltecs, played there early this year. Angelo was extremely helpful and supportive in setting up the date, etc. The experience itself was somewhat magical. Great audience, great energy! Aside from that, I always enjoy coming in to hear other music - especially like the Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is cool ---- creative vibes ---- I love this place.

I love the relaxed atmosphere in the mornings and afternoons: soulful music, fresh local art, and the staff are down-to-earth. Most evenings Ive gone theyve got local performances. Angelo, one of the owners, is good people and loves his community. The food is good, and the owners have been doing restaurants in the area for years. I always make sure to stop in whenever Im in town.

5 stars for the desserts 5 stars for the food and 5 stars for theyre great coffee drinks.. I would overall 3 only because ....even though most staff is outstanding , there are few ruin the experience. . But its such fabulous l place Id still recommend it to everyone to try it out. its a fun place to hang out and talk with friends. Definitely a West Coast / Seattle vive there..

This is a fine, cute coffee shop in the Riverside part of Wichita. That fact coupled with the otherwise dearth of options gives this place an immediate four stars. The decent, but not incredible craft only girds up the four stars. But there is five star service, and thats always appreciated. I hope places like this thrive and keep the local economy rolling.

Love the atmosphere, in fact, if i could sleep on a cot in the kitchen, i would. Great coffee. The guy even knows my order now. My only complaint, if i could make one, is that they dont have many gluten-free menu options but they arent offended when i bring my own food in so, its not a problem. Their live music is amazing (most of the time).

A stunning environment in the artsiest neighborhood in wichita. You are sure to have a notable conversation with the stunning staff or owner, followed by some of the finest brews in Wichita. If you want to support your local ANYTHING, please chime in for live music, baked goods, food options (vegan and veg), and hand-crafted coffies.

The breakfast burrito with chorizo is divine and the coffee is good. A relaxing quiet atmosphere and just has the coffee house feel, not like a Starbucks. Since the park is just down the road its also a good place to just grab a coffee and take a walk by the river.

A great place with a nice view on a busy corner. Fresh sandwiches, pies and cakes. The almond joy drink is my favorite hot or cold. Live music from time to time is awesome in riverside.

The staff is very friendly, and the pies are great. The Samoan is my favorite drink here. So good! Its cool to be able to listen to live music now and then.

Great atmosphere, good coffee. Feels expensive, but hey, its probably hard to make a living on $3 cups. Plus, it helps you sip slower and enjoy it.

This place is excellent! I had a specialty coffee that knocked the cobwebs out of my morning haze and the Breakfast Tacos hit the spot!
