Nice work Food republic! After watching this place cycle through two or three restaurants of the last 6 years, its nice to see that theres finally a place that serving up some good stuff! We came in for lunch on a random Thursday and ended up having quite a nice time. The ambience here is what youd expect from an Asian fusion restaurant. Burners on the table for what I assumed was Hot Pot if desired, and plenty of modern looking tables and chairs. The wait staff was very friendly and relatively attentive. We started out with a couple appetizers. The crab rangoons were delicious as they are everywhere and the Takoyaki (octopus in a wheat flour dough) was quite good. The texture was a little bit interesting, but overall it was pretty good. We shared a duck and BBQ pork plate, and it was quite delicious. The barbecue pork was a little on the dry side, which is unfortunate, but it was made up for by the duck which was absolutely perfect. It seemed to basically be there version of Peking Duck, and it was really really good. Very nice flavor, crispy on the outside and a nice layer of fat under the skin to really flavor things up nicely. The other thing that they really did well was different types of teas, including a lychee tea. All in all, this place was a solid 4 and is somewhere that we will probably continue to go only have the hankering for something thats a little bit different than General Tsos chicken.

Absolutely terrible service. I called to order food for pick-up, and it took nearly 20 minutes to say my order and information due to having to repeat myself so many times (it seems they were unable to hear me), but I ended up having to cancel my order because they said it would take 45 minutes for the food to be ready, and we did not have enough time to wait that long. As soon as I said I would have to cancel, the woman on the other side said "Okay, bye." and hung up. I had been there once before, and would have given maybe 3 stars from that experience. We ordered 4 dishes, 3 of which were just so-so, but one that we liked (which is why I tried to order take-out today). The service was also just so-so, and the food was pricey, but took a reasonable amount of time to arrive. Something else to consider about this place is that there is a toddler that walks around- she seems to be one of the workers children. We love kids, but it was a bit disconcerting to see her sitting on the floor by herself and wandering to the tables during the entire time we were there.

The food was good, but overpriced. We ordered scallion pancakes, spicy tofu, and garlic spinach. The scallion pancakes were flaky & delicious. I was a little disappointed they didnt come with their own dipping sauce. The spicy tofu was just a plate of mushy silken tofu in a sauce that wasnt spicy in the slightest. The garlic spinach was made with fresh spinach & was cooked very well, but for the price I think there should have been more leaves than stems. Also, the spicy tofu had more garlic than the garlic spinach. To top off the meal we tried to order the sticky rice dessert that was advertised on the table, but they were out of that. Its also possible our server just didnt want to get it for us as he had our bill in hand when we asked about it. The service was slow & inattentive even though we were only the second full table on a Saturday evening. This place might be acceptable for their lunch specials, but Ill never bother with dinner here again.

You are lucky I can only rate this a minimum of one star, I would rate it zero stars if I could. Went to the restaurant, horrible service and took a very long time to order. I had heard great things from a friend of mine however I was highly let down when I was looking forward to trying out the food at this restaurant and it was part of the hype of travelling halfway across the world. However, I was diagnosed with food poisoning the next day when I visited the doctor and I had to spend the remaining of my trip lying in the hotel room. Such a shame really, its not everyday you get to visit the other side of the world and valuable time was wasted. Please do not visit this restaurant if you wish to remain in good health.

After reading a review about "how good this place was" I decided to check it out. Words cannot express the sheer disappointment. Too pricey for the below-average quality. I think I had better quality food from a gas station sushi stand. I was sick for days, the place was dirty, and for some reason I feel like more money is missing than what I put down for the meal- I definitely didnt tip the mediocre service. Save yourself and dont go here. First time I ever felt so disappointing to the point where I would write a review.

Dropped by the area while travelling to meet with some friends; we decided to try out a new place for dinner. I was hoping for a lot based on the Yelp reviews, but the food fell short of my expectations, leaving much to be desired. However, the truly disappointing part of the meal was the service. We went during relatively uncrowded hours and our waitress still took about 20-30 minutes to receive us. We ended up staying way longer than anticipated for a relatively mediocre meal. Dont think Ill be coming back again.

Most rude service, Ive ever encountered after placing our orders we waited almost a full hour before our food came out cold and soggy. Not only did the servers ignore our requests for our food but the entrees were inedible and we had fear of receiving food poisoning which ended up happening to one of our friends who ended up throwing up and having a one way trip to the emergency. Dont dine here unless you want to sit on the toilet for the rest of the night.

Best and most authentic Chinese food experience I have had since I lived in NY. The food was hot, flavorful and not doused in MSG like other, inferior places. I would recommend that you pick something random to try. You will not be disappointed!

Several excellent options. I look forward to trying it again. I had the crayfish, which is a bit of work to eat. I recommend getting extra napkins.

We are Indians, we tried to have fried rice here, and it was awesome. Chicken fried rice & Schezuwan Style Chicken both were delicious and spicy.
