This little coffee shop has good coffee and excellent chai. However, the lady that is always working could be friendlier. When I go to a coffee shop, part of what I am paying for is the service. When I was there yesterday, during a small rush, the lady behind the counter actually sighed and grunted at me when she took my order. She barely made any eye contact or conversation. I used to be a barista at Starbucks so I know how stressful rushes can get but there were only about 4 people in line. If you dont like your job, please go get a new one, but if not then buck up and give some good service. We even tipped her $3 and she was not grateful.

A hidden gem in the middle of the city! Hands down THE BEST banana cake Ive ever had. Its super moist and flavorful. The coffee is great, there are vegetarian options and dairy-free milk, and the breakfast sandwiches are DIVINE. And theyve recently expanded and added more seating area, so you can hang out with friends for good conversation. Id give it more stars if I could.

Great little place, though not terribly easy to find from outside. Not a ton of places to sit, not a particularly "trendy" coffee place. But who cares? If youre just looking for a solid coffee at a fair price with good service, this place delivers. They have a number of creative "specialty" concoctions as well; I suggest the raspberry mocha. Definitely recommend this shop.

One of only two excellent coffee shops in the area, Coffee Emporium has a consistently high quality product. The artwork on the walls and friendly employees make it a pleasure for me to grab my coffee or espresso in the morning. Since the flooding in downtown CR, I have come to miss Robin and friends at CE... Do rebuild - youre a landmark and a destination.

Best Latte Ive ever had in my life. The only place even close was CoffeeSmiths and they were bought out and the new companys lattes taste terrible. Even Starbucks is better than Scooters.
