Sandwich was terrible, over priced and tasted very bland. The lady who sliced meat and made my sandwich was very impersonal. It was obvious that she could care less about my satisfaction and it showed in the service and the terrible and messy sub she made me. Immediately after I paid...she went back to her phone and her chair. No thank you. No come again. No enjoy your sandwich. *** There was no wonder why this place was empty at lunchtime. Ill bet this place was great 20 yrs ago. But now sadly its terrible, and depressing...from the old dirty, outdated decor... to the antiquated appliances including the meat slicer. I think the only up to date thing is the CC machine that charges way too much. I will not be back.

Excellent sandwiches at great prices. Their bread is fantastic. Meats and cheeses are freshly sliced when you order and they have lots of veggies and spreads made to order. Try the #25. On-street parking only but its on a corner so theres usually a spot somewhere close. The woman that owns and runs the shop is SUPER nice.

My favorite sandwich shop in Cedar Rapids! It doesnt get any better than the "Gregory J Way" served up "New Jersey Style" plus dill spread or their chicken salad in a tub...SO GOOD!!! Seriously, if you havent tried them, give one of their sandwiches or salads a shot. You wont be disappointed.

You need to know what you want on your Hoagie but this place does have the best ingredients. Im from the Philly/Chester City area and this is the nearest I can come to my home town hoagie joint (DiCostanzas). Oh and it would be $80 well spent to get one of their hoagies here.

Ive grew up in the capital of subs, and hogies. New York city, and New Jersey. Sub City is easily the best sandwich place in cedar rapids bar none. No place comes close the tastiness this place provides.

Great sandwiches with fresh meat and veggies. Beats the hell out of Subway, Milios, Jimmy Johns or any other major chain sandwich shop. Dollar to dollar its a better value and better food all around.

Great place to get a variety of fresh sliced sub sandwiches. Very simliar to a Jersey Mikes, but more sandwich options. Best sandwhich I have had in Cedar Rapids.
