We decided to have an early dinner yesterday which was Wednesday July 6th 2016. It was not busy at all because it was around 4 oclock. Even before being seated there appeared to be a little confusion as to where we would be seated. I specifically asked if a booth was available because my back was bothering me and I find most chairs to be uncomfortable in restaurants. It was suggested that we could sit at the bar even though I had asked for booth and I had a child with me so why would the bar be suggested. Still no problem, I just reminded the hostess that we had a child with us. We were eventually seated at a booth. This is where everything started going downhill. The table and seats were sticky to the point that my daughter and I had to go and wash our hands even before we could order and my husband kept using the hand sanitizer. We placed our order and it came promptly however when I got ready to use the salt and pepper the bottles were sticky, I had to use the hand sanitizer. I then start looking around and the place was beyond filthy. Not to mention the flies. I realize that flies can come in when the doors open but this was ridiculous, who wants to be swatting at flies while eating their meal. Finally the last straw, apparently there was a spill at the table area across from us. Someone came out to mop it up. We start smelling something stinky, it was the nasty mildew smelling mop. Even our waiter commented on it and said he would take care of it. To late I had lost my appetite and was ready to go. The board of health would have field day at this place. I can only imagine how the kitchen is. Never will go there again!

The first we went was for my sisters big 4-0! It had been YEARS upon YEARS since I had been to TGI Fridays, I used to pick up chips and salsa for the kids but thats about it. Of course, on a Saturday night, there was many people waiting at the door, we were told the wait would be about 60-80 minutes, that was fine, that is where the birthday girl wanted to go. Within 25 minutes, they had us seated, the seating there, I am not impressed with, the tables that sit 4 or more are too small. You have to clear everything off the table to fit everything on there, we had to put some of the food up on the ledge also. Other than that, the food was exccellent, the French Onion Soup is amazing, if you love French Onion Soup, I am sure there are many places to go for it, however, every bit eof this is pure joy, the broth is the first taste, then the crouton, then the cheese, it is all melt in your mouth. Also, the burgers, wings and shrimp is worth it. This place is a bit more pricy than other resturants but it is SO WORTH IT. Give it a try, you wont be dissapointed! Also, they sing to you and you recieve a free desert for everyone in your party, you cant get better than that! -M

My experience at this fridays was horrible. The service was trash. I had two not one but two waitresses that could not forfill their duty by bringing my food or drinks. They ran out off potstickers on of the main and most popular appetizers and didnt have a replacement for it. For real who does that. I had order at 7:30 abd it didnt come till 8:15 it doesnt take that long for them little 6 wings. Then it took the two waitresses 15 minutes to bring back the refills. They kept going to obe particular table that was a large table. Now I know for a fact that my table ordered well before they did but they kept getting food and my table didnt. One of the waitresses was the manger how does the manger not do their job. I used to go there a lot but now i wont ever go there again little did they know they messed with the wrong person. Thats thats why im putting them on blast. DO NOT GO TO THE SHERIVILLE FRIDAYS !!!!!! You will be unsatisfied there dont even waste your time or money on that terrible place. I came here with my husband and 3 lil boys on Saturday March 18th 2016 my Waitress was Nicole....it was endless app time..i waited 28min on the first app cheese sticks then 18 min later my main course came out...which turned out to be something i did not order..then they brought my boys food and did not bring one of the boys meal completely..so i waited another 12 min on me and my son food to be brought out...mean while still waiting on that second endless app....at the end of our meal we sat 18 min waiting on the bill and when that came it was a 23.16 over charge and at this point we still have not recieved our second app to the endless appetizer...so we waited another 10 min on her to fix our bill.. In which we were not charged for the endless app we never recieved but when she brought the bill she charged us twice for the meal that she originally messed up in the beginning so we waited another 12 min on her to fix that bill...needless to say i will never return to this Fridays even though this is one of my favorite resturants the service here this night was awful....

Walked into location here in Schererville stood here for ten minutes before anyone greeted me. Ordered a carry out and in the past was directed to the bar. After waiting the ten minutes walked over to the bar where two bar tenders looked at me but said nothing. After another ten minutes I asked them if they were working in the bar? She said yes and I explained I wanted to pick up a carry out and was told to go wait back in front. Went back to the front someone greeted me about five minutes later to tell me my order still was not done and they were going to call because they didnt remember what sides we wanted. When they spoke to us on the phone they told us 20-25 minutes I did not arrive until after 25 minutes and now had spent an additional 22 minutes in he location to find out our food was not done. Service is horrible. Im a retail store manager and I rate this one of my worst and yet another miserable experience at TGI Fridays!

Idk what was going on last night but our server was horrible n the management didnt seem to care about any of his guests ...all of our food came out same time n we noticed the marinara sauce was stiff so we knew our appetizer was just sitting in the window smdh ....my husbands ribs were tough n dried out hardly any sauce on them his sides were cold ....i ordered the jack daniels flat iron ....my steak came out a regular steak so i told the girl take it back its supposed to b jack daniels ...shes like um sorry ...well u shouldve caught that before u came out of kitchen duuuhhh ...my sides were cold the only good thing about our dinner was my pomegrante long island n leaving ....thank u to the girl that did come around n actually gave us our bill ...NEVER AGAIN will we back .....we r both in management and if i was your district or regional manager id clean house n fire everyone of u!!!!!!
