We traveled nearly an hour to eat here for my birthday. We learned quickly that this place does not care about special occassions. The hostess was half out of it when we said we were here to celebrate a birthday and was more concerned about us filling out the e-club cards. Then we were greeted with a waitress who didnt seem to enthused to be there. When our food arrived they brought my husbands burger out with lettuce and mayo on it after he had ordered it plain. So the waitress gets a bottom bun from the kitchen and handed it to him so he could remake his cheeseburger. My pasta had sat under a warmer for a considerable amount of time and was crusted over. And they were not busy at all. To top it off the Manager was making his rounds, before our food or drinks was ever served, and asked how everthing was and we said o.k. but we hadnt ate yet and he replied, "thats ok I will see you again, weve got cameras all over the place." Creepy! Not the appropriate way to strike up a conversation with your guests! He never did come back and visit our table so we were left to tell our experience here. It was an odd experience and left us regretting we had ate there. Its all about your guests and the quality of food and service in the restaurant business.

Overall, there is nothing unique to this restaurant. All around portions were small, except for the ribs. However, the ribs were so-so. Wait staff is not very attentive. We requested a highchair multiple times and our waiter watched one of the servers bring over a full size chair from across the restaurant without saying anything (smooth!). Also, I would request a water refill, and the waiter did not even ask anyone else at the table if they wanted more water. The bathrooms are not kid friendly at all. Very low lighting and my wife told me there was a disco ball in the womens restroom? And, at the end of the meal, our bench came loose (to their credit, the manager came over right away and promised to get it repaired). This is supposed to be a new restaurant. I will say that the call-ahead seating worked. It cut our wait time down from 80-90 minutes to 30-40. Im actually glad this place is here, and Im sure those that rate this place highly really enjoy it. For a family experience, I would go elsewhere. At least this place will cut down wait times for other restaurants.

My second time here. Wait staff very pleasant and the food selection and quality is very good! My wife, two kids, and a couple of friends were happy it stayed open until 11pm on Saturday because we were hungry for a nice dinner after we saw a movie at the Goodrich Hamilton 16 Theater. This time I tried the Pasta Jambalaya which had just the right spiciness and generous portions of shrimp and chicken in it and well-balanced with the linguini which was cooked just right! It was accompanied with a slice of buttered garlic bread which is not in the menus photo, so I counted that as a bonus! You can view the menu online and make reservations, though the latter is not necessary as we simply walked in. The wait for us for a Saturday night was amazingly short... less than 5 minutes despite the place bustling with business. Very family-friendly place, but the boars head mounted in the mens room is just a little "creepy" but I guess thats just to keep with the mountain lodge theme. We will definitely be back!

We visited a couple of weeks ago and had the owners son as our server and he was absolutely amazing. Our service last night was far from enjoyable. The whole reason we went out to eat last night was to celebrate our daughters first birthday. I asked the server if they sang or clapped or anything for birthdays and he said, "No we dont, sorry." No question on whos birthday, no compromise, that was just the end of it. The guy just wasnt very polite and he definitely lacked in service. He wasnt the worst ever, but he didnt make us leave in a good mood. Its not just about bringing the food to your customers, its about making a quick relationship while theyre there to make the meal enjoyable. The food is superb. Both times the food has been excellent. We got the fried cheesecake both times and it is amazing! I would just suggest better help and maybe some sort of something for birthdays. Thats an exciting thing for children and of course for the parents to see the children excited.

I first found out about this restaurant back in February, and visited at that time. I went there again yesterday, and it was as good as I remembered it to be. I absolutely love this place! The food is deliciously fresh, and the staff is amazing. I was waited on by Jessica, the bartender, and she was super-attentive to me my entire visit. She remembered me from when I was in there in February, and she made really good conversation with me. She was so kind to make menu suggestions to me, and was very knowledgeable about the different foods they had available. There were an array of different beers on tap, as well as the mixed drinks and margaritas. I really like the atmosphere and the décor of the restaurant. Even the restroom was super-cool, decorated with a rock music theme and a disco ball hanging from the ceiling. I will definitely be back, and will bring my family here in the future!

This place is always busy. Always. The food is good and pretty consistent, which may explain why there is generally a wait. If you go early evening, the offer some of their more popular entrees for $10 (the fish and chips are where its at!) That being said, this is not a place you can get in and out of quickly. Food often takes a considerable amount of time. Service is acceptable. We have had some really great, and attentive servers here, but weve also had some who were mediocre. Weve never had a bad experience, and we eat here frequently. One of our family favorites!

I thought the food was great, I thought the service was good, right up until a stranger came up to me and told me and my date we were taking too long and wanted our place for a party of 9 and insulted me and my date...I told him where he could go and to move the F--k on and then I ordered dessert. There was no way I was going to give up our seats now, the man was very rude... Management came by and give us our s desserts for free... The jerk left and shortly afterwards we did too...I then rolled out, being in a wheelchair...

Typical look of the bar/restaurant combos such as Chilis, Applebees, OCharlies, etc, but the food (and prices) are slightly more up-scale. While the side dishes were typical and not noteworthy, the main courses seem to be made with a little more care to give the impression of a fine dining experience in a casual surrounding. This is more of a first-date or birthday place to eat, not somewhere you take the kids weekly. Expect $15-20 PER person, on average, with a few of the items heading far north of that.
