I have to say that my boyfriend and I were a little nervous about trying out Thai Kitchen. Its on the nearly-deserted south side of Muncie, and weve never seen anyone enter or leave. After working in kitchens, and watching various Gordon Ramsay shows, I had pictures in my head of 2 month old produce being turned into our dinner. Alas, that was not at all so! To be honest, we are broke, so Thai Kitchen automatically earned points with their VERY reasonably-priced menu. All the entrees save one were UNDER $7.00. Im talking stir-frys, curries, fried rice, etc. This was a huge relief after my last less-than-amazing meal at Thai Smile (2), which rang up somewhere around $12.00. I cant speak for all the food, because all I had was the pineapple stir-fry with tofu, but it was really delicious, especially for $5.75. They also offer appetizers, soups, desserts and beer! What more could you ask for? The place was completely empty, so the service was very friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is half 60s diner, half Thai restaurant, so I wouldnt necessarily go there for a fancy night out. I guess that just depends on your definition of fancy, though. All that said, Thai Kitchen is my new favorite restaurant in Muncie. Its a tasty, cheap option for a girl whos pretty sick of Panera Bread, Chinese food, fast-food, and pitas from Pita Pit. I would definitely recommend this place to all college students looking for an adventure on the (gasp!) south side of town.

Some of the best curry I have had! The staff was friendly- I even got to play with one of their kids. Fast services. I dont think anything on the menu was over 8 dollars. Better than Thai smile because they are not afraid to add some heat to their food. I will definitely be going back.

Amazing! We loved it. Great employees/owners! Great Thai food and prices! Loved the authentic Thai food....red chicken curry and eggplant curry were our favorites this trip. I hope you all support this great little restaurant so I can have more the next time I am in town!

I love this restaurant! The owner Vong is an excellent cook, and Ive eaten almost everything on the menu. This place has the most authentic food Ive had since leaving Bangkok! I highly recommend it.

Terrible!!! I would rate this place 0 stars if possible. No flavor and no heat. Couldnt even tell the dish was pad Thai. Tasted like bland wet soggy noodles. Service was awful as well.

The food is delicious! It may appear to be a hole in the wall or a dive, but the staff is wonderful and the food couldnt be better. The prices are super affordable too.
