Love the Red Pepper - John and Lori have done a great job of creating a warm, welcoming environment. Their employees are always happy to see you and so pleasant throughout your entire dining experience. The sandwiches are delicious and there are so many options. My parents eat at the Red Pepper every time they visit from Indianapolis (except on Sundays ;)) When making dining recommendations to out-of-towners, I always have the Red Pepper as my top choice! Keep up the great work!!! P.S. Check out their daily sandwich special - they are typically amazing!!!

There are tons of worse places to eat at in madison, but there are also better. I like the chicken ceazar wrap. Ive gotten other things, and not liked it at all. Their desserts are good there too. Good brownies and cookies. I would definitely give it a try, maybe you will find that one thing one their menu that you will like, But i dont think its the go and pick anything off the menu and like it kinda of place.

The food was great. The girl at the counter was not nice today and the dude that deliver the food acted like he was gonna throw the food on the floor because we didnt have the silly number stand. We ask what he was doing playing with our food and he wouldnt answer. Food was delicious the the staff could use a little lesson. One guy was real nice and he did mention they were under staffed.

How this place has a 4 star Google rating is beyond me. Stopped in for a sandwich while in Madison, and the food was absolutely terrible. California Turkey Club was more than disappointing: the turkey was bland, the croissant was stale and dry, the tomato was a slice of semi-pink mush, and the so-called "guacamole" was a small glop of brownish-green schtuff. Worst. Sandwich. Ever.

The Red Pepper is a fantastic place to eat, even if it is a bit of a walk from most of the other stores. Their sandwiches are delicious, and the environment inside is a very positive. The music that they play is a plus, too.

Come here after a full day of hiking at Clifty Falls. Everything is amazing! Outdoor seating and Whoopie Pies! Does it get any better? I recommend the Vampire Slayer, if garlic is your thing.
