What a lovely place! Decided to give this place a try after several people told me how great it was... and they werent lying. The place itself is very unique and full of all sorts of stuff. Orders are taken on the far left side of the counter. After examining the menu I ordered. There were two people behind the counter, a guy and a girl. IDK if the girl was new, or just given a hard time by the guy, but either way the dynamic between the two was energetic and fun. After our sandwiches made a pass through the toaster we added our toppings and went along with our day. Before selecting a seat outside (it was a beautiful fall day) we commented on how inexpensive our meal was. $17 for two people is amazing... especially when we are used to paying $25+ elsewhere. The food was absolutely delicious. Made me happy... and really thats whats important. Good flavor and great value! The place itself is clean, bright (huge windows overlooking monument circle), and plenty of places to sit. They do have a small section outside to sit as well (clearly as it was mentioned above). They do offer other items than a sandwich, such as smoothies, soup, and I believe even salads. They do have some baked goods at the counter as well. Its a great little place and Im sure that Ill be back again.

I was recently in Indianapolis for a conference with a group of hungry teens. I had been to the Potbelly Sandwich in Washington, DC so I knew what kind of food to expect for a cheap price. I tried the meatball sub and the seasonal peppermint milkshake. Both were very delicious. Everyone in the group I was with was able to find something that they would enjoy. We also had a gluten free vegetarian in the group and she was very happy with the selection and options that she had to choose from. The staff was very welcoming and one of the workers checked in on us throughout the meal to see how every one liked it. Definitely a great place to go for lunch and dinner. It is within walking distance of the convention center and Lucas Oil Stadium.

Looking for a lunch spot while walking downtown Indy and wanted something light, good, and a sandwich. This fit the bill perfect. Decent fresh subs, nice decor, clean, fast, and good service. I got the wreck on wheat with mayo, lettuce, Italian seasoning, and potbelly vinaigrette. The sandwich wasnt as big as Ive received at other subs places, but it was just enough to fill me up. I really enjoyed it, and really enjoyed the potbelly vinaigrette. I gave it 4 stars because they dont have sweet tea just unsweetened. They need sweat tea :-)

Small-ish menu, but Ive actually eaten 95% of the offerings and everything was good. There are a ton of things to look at and read in this place, and the staff behind the counter are very friendly. They have a couple of delivery bike guys who are snotty douche bags, though. They like to hang out outside and pat themselves on the back for being so awesome; they are hard to miss.

This is my favorite sub shop in Indianapolis. If you like sandwiches, you should definitely try this restaurant! By default the sandwiches are hot. The unique thing about Potbelly is that the hot sandwiches are not greasy! I usually get their Italian sub and it is not greasy at all. Their hot peppers are super good. All the ingredients are very fresh. This is a must try place!

Great sandwich and shake restaurant. Friendly staff and good service. My family frequently walks down to the circle on the weekend and has a sandwich and shake - the staff always accommodates our request to make a shake and split into two cups for the kids to share. The sandwiches are excellent and can be custom ordered for non-menu items. The shakes are also very good.

One afternoon my office was getting a little hungry we called Potbellys to see if we cold have some cookies delivered. They said that they would have to bake them fresh so it would take a little bit of time, but they were delivered fresh and hot. The whole office appreciated the amazing customer service that this store offered us!

Extreme bad service. Placed an order for delivery an hour and half back. I was told by the delivery guy that the order was placed only half an hour back according to the receipt. Called them twice but the response was cavalier. Wanted to buy from them for the rest of my weeks stay in Indy but not sure anymore.

I always place my order online. I like that I can customize my sandwich just as if I was at the restaurant ordering. I can also save orders so when I am ordering for a monthly meeting at work I can just place the order not worry about it. I have never had any problems and the delivery is quick and efficient.

Potbelly is my favorite downtown sub shop. Its a really cute location, with fast and friendly service. The subs are toasted and hot, piled up just the way you like it. The Potbelly peppers are the perfect topping for a little extra pizzazz. Extras include chips, jumbo pickles, cookies, and milk shakes.

This is what small sandwich shop in a big city should feel like! Classic vibe with lots of hustle and bustle, newspaper clippings and signs on the walls. Its usually really busy around lunch time, but thats because its a rather popular place. Sandwiches are delicious!

Potbellys is my favorite sandwich place in downtown Indianapolis. It is within walking distance of the convention center. It is always a treat when I get the chance to go. I really like that they have the calories listed on the large menu so I can keep track.

We order from Potbelly a lot! The online system is so easy to use and order. I work near the restaurant and we have always had an on time delivery. I really like the quality of catering that they do for meetings too. It is presentable and delicious.

Pretty good place for sandwiches. I ordered ahead and my order was ready exactly on time. Only reason Im knocking a star is because I feel that their meat portions are a bit lackluster. Good experience otherwise.
