We decided to go with Mexican food for a change for our office Christmas party. We have about 100 people working for us. We got quotes from several local restaurants and compared what you get for the money. Yes, they were a little higher priced, but you get a lot of food, they use real chaffing trays and utensils (Not disposable ones) And the best part is they set up and take down. We had many employees say this was hands down the BEST Christmas party ever! They arrive an hour before, set up all of the food, & added some fun Mexican decorations! They came back towards end of party and cleaned up everything. We had plenty of food and it was all delicious. We HIGHLY Recommend them for your next party! The Taste of The Boarder was wonderful!

OK but dirty. Thought we would try this as it it is closer to where we live than our favorite Mexican, Puerto Vallarta. The food was good and the portions were a refreshingly sensible size, and the place is obviously popular - a lot of people waiting when we left at about 6.30pm on a Saturday. But while our waitress Ashley was very friendly, she forgot about us after the food was delivered and did not take away empty plates or glasses. Margaritas good but absurdly over-priced at $9.50. And the floor was filthy - it looked like there had been a food fight. Very much doubt we will go back again.

Ordered several of the lunch special Fajitas for carry out. Apparently you get cheese, sour cream and pico in a small plastic container. My container was 80% iceberg lettuce with just enough Pico, cheese and sour cream to cover the top of the lettuce so that the container APPEARS to be full. Im sorry, but for a $12 lunch, I expect a little more than a teaspoon of sour cream, cheese and Pico. Not even enough for 1 of the 3 fajitas. Youll get no more orders from us...

The best thing about OTB is their Salsa. Ok, and the consistency! From the Chicken Flautas to the Big Bodurrito to the Guacamole to the awesome salsa & chips! Everything is consistently fresh and tastes great! I’ve been a Border fan since the late 90’s when I lived in Arizona. I’ve had true authentic Mexican food and On The Border is the best I’ve found here in Indy! And YES! The salsa is Medium – if you think it’s hot? You need Pico de Gallo!

I hate leaving bad reviews, but this is a special occasion, I guess. I ordered Doordash from here-- two spinach and mushroom enchiladas. I put *in the instructions* that Im vegetarian, and they put chicken in the enchiladas. I accidentally ate some, and it made me seriously sick.

Very delicious Mexican food! I highly recommend watermelon margarita. It was a really refreshing summer twist to a classic drink. Our waiter also gave excellent service, despite being relatively new. Great place for a meal with the family or with friends.

We ordered food to go. Had a quesadilla... it was excellent. Ordered queso... it tasted like it was bathed in windex. Absolutely putrid. This was our first trip to On the Border, and sadly, I am not inclined to return.

Such a great restaurant, I would highly recommend to everyone. What amazed me about this place the quality of the service and the food; the entre was very testy. The waitress were nice and very beautiful.

Love OTB! We go there often. The only reason its not 5 stars is that occasionally the steak of the fajitas isnt as good as Ive come to expect from this place. Also has great service and management!

Dont know where to start. Some of our food wasnt even served to us. One dish had hair, and we never got salsa or sour cream which is pretty basic. Even when we asked for it. Negative tip anyone?

Walked in. Watched them clean our table with a rag pickup up off the floor by the reception area then watched them throw it back in the bucket to use it again. Then walked right back out. Nope.
