Generally when I write bad reviews for restaurants its after a third negative encounter, for El Paso it was four due to promising past experiences. When i first began frequenting El Paso some years ago, the food was great, the staff were capable, and service was decent, however recently in the previous two months, this has not been the case. It pains me to abandon such a promising restaurant, but enough is enough. The only reason i have awarded this restaurant one star would be to write a review and warn others; it does not deserve any. Service, very much key to successfull business; missing. The very uncapable staff have mastered the art of ruining orders. Masters of negligence. Timliness, out the window unless the establishment is barren, which should always be the case at this point. Courtesy, lost in translation. Before I step foot in this restaurant again I would need to see a completely new staff; the mental anguish is not worth it. So my parting words for El Paso are: better train your staff, streamline your processes and one day you might meet Taco Bell standards. Do not eat here, do not suggest it even to your worst enemies.

Good price of drinks every day, no certain blocked time like most of bars in this town. Very casual and comfortable dining, fast food and drink service, friendly waitress, good taste of Mexican food. Complimentary Serving chips has a bit of residue oily smell because of repeated heating but its a free of charge so it is plus. Convenient location also. It will be nice if they can offer daily special on weekend too, not just weekday. The only problem I have is my favorite beer which is the most demanding beer runs out often, they need improvement on beer inventory especially on weekend. Overall I like this place to relax on weekend without rushing for happy hour.

It is true that service was quick at my lunchtime visit, but the food itself was somewhat lackluster. The main course was a bit bland and portions of it appeared to have come from a can. The salsa, actually, was rather excellent, but that didnt make up for the strange tasting rice. Good, perhaps, for those not familiar with food that is "closer to the source".

Stopped in while on vacation and tried this for the first time, not only was the food great. But the service was beyond amazing! Very quick , kept the drinks topped and also chatted the whole time. If you come here ask for Dee! She was the best and cannot wait for my next vacation to have the expericne again!

I didnt enjoy my lunch at all. The food was bland, no season or flavor to the meat, which is what Mexican food is all about. We visited from TX so that might me a big reason as why we didnt enjoy it. The service was odd as well, we had to call our waiter for missing items. I will not be returning.

Great Margaritas for a "cheap" price, since you get 2 for the price of 1 almost all the time. The food was good. It was way too cold inside the restaurant, though. If you wanna have dinner here make sure to bring a warm sweater and long pants. I was freezing and couldnt wait to get out of there.

I love El Pasos. Every time, I order shrimp enchiladas. Ive tried other things and their food is delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful and make your dining experience very pleasant. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Mexican food.

The service was excellent and prompt and the food was good in its own way but not as authentic as other restaurants Ive been to. Nice vibe inside the building and comfortable seating. Definitely a place to go and see for yourselves. Amen.

Went here with a friend after work tonight. Very observant staff. Our drinks were never empty and the food was good. I thought at first the portions were smaller than most Mexican restaurants, but after eating, I realized it was perfect.

Slightly "expensive" by Mexican food standard but great margarita and draft beer. That particular day, the chip wasnt great. However, we are tourists and dont know what it would be on other days. The service was excellent.

Food was good, but the staff was rude! Waited 15 minutes after they brought the drinks to ask if we were ready to order! Ordering was quite the fiasco as well, as English was not anyones strong language, apparently.

Hooked on their nachos. Fresh ingredients and I ask for the fresh jalapenos which really makes it! A meal in itself. And unlike other places, the chips stay crisp and arent a soggy mess at the end.

2 for 1 margaritas are great, but its only house margaritas I enjoy flavored Margaritas. If they actually made the margaritas strong I wouldnt mind paying 13 dollars but they dont so I was offended

Looked at the menu online and placed an order over the phone. As I was picking it up, it turns out the prices has been changed...so it was a shock when my meal went from 7.50 to 12.00.
