The hostess literally hid behind the counter when we entered the otherwise empty restaurant. When she realized she had no choice but to acknowledge us, she merely shrugged her shoulders and grunted. She shot us blatantly obvious dirty looks as we ordered food which turned out to be bland, dry, below average and not quite up to supermarket quality. We cant imagine how this restaurant stays in business with such terribly rude staff and such low quality menu items. Our first trip to this restaurant wasnt much better but we thought such a miserable experience was unlikely to be repeated, so we gave them another chance. We were more than shocked that this restaurant delivers consistently foul service and sub par food. We will never return. Dont waste your time going to Hong Kong restaurant.

I recently moved downtown and was excited to try the chinese food near me. Since I came from a small town I expexted the quality and selection to be excellent. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Even though Hong Kong is the only chinese food restaurant that will deliver to my apartment complex I will NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! The gentleman delivering the food was delightful but that was the only good aspect of my experience. My shrimp eggroll tasted like garbage and my general tsos was disgusting, 6 out of the 10 peices were just deep-fried batter coated in a sauce that tasted nothing like regular general tsos sauce. I was highly disappointed. I am a avid chinese food orderer but I would rather drive some where to get something worth eating. WORST CHINESE IVE EVER EATEN! :(

To the guy that left a bad review because they would not take an order 4 mins after close, your an idiot and clearly never worked in the service industry. That 4 min would of cost them another hour on the night with a loss of money. Try playing by the rules and ordering before close. The world does not revolve around you. I have ordered food here twice a week for over a year. Food is average Chinese food and they deliver it very fast. The only complaint I have is after a year they still ask me to spell my street name after every time. They clearly dont know or care who this loyal customer is. Its a chinese place though. The food is decent, priced fair, and delivered fast. What more can you ask for?

I ordered a large shrimp with lobster sauce and a fried rice and paid the menu price for each item. When I opened my order I discovered they had combined my two items. The shrimp with lobster sauce had two very small pieces of shrimp in it.I called the restaurant to request a refund or a replacement. The lady told me that I had got what I ordered. I repeatedly explained the problem and their error and she finally suggested that bring the food to the restaurant myself to prove that they were wrong. I was pretty taken aback as there was a reason I had just ordered delivery. I will not be ordering from Hong Kong ever again. They do not know how to treat their customers and delivery the wrong food!

Vegetarian customer -- the first time I ordered broccoli w/garlic sauce; it was very good. Second time ordered same; it was HORRIBLE and was swimming in grease. Third time, today; ordered vegetable fried rice -- co came from kitchen to see who ordered, went back in kitchen, merely threw rice & veggies in pan-- NO SEASONING, NO NOTHINNG -- It was bland and tasteless. Also family members -- men actually laying daown and two others in front like they live in the restaurant.... Wont eat there again.

HORRIBLE FACILITY. We just ordered our dinner and found a GIANT spider inside the rice. This business closes at 10:30pm. I called at 10:34pm several times and they wouldnt not take my call. A gentleman picked up the phone said "we are closed", and then Hung up on me. I called several times after and no one would take my call. Stay away from this place at all cost. I will never order food from them again and I WILL file a complaint with the BBB.

Their siding is gross. The pavement in their alley is unmaintained. I drove out back, trying to find parking. Their kitchen looked -filthy.- There was but a broken screen door separating me from the unkempt pans. They stick ads in our apartment door (This is against the terms of housing contract. The entrances are all keyed, too. Sneaky folks.) every week. I dont even know how they get in. We decided to go for Moes instead. It was delicious.

The staff seemed a little like they didnt know we were there, and the food was dry like it had been sitting there a while. There werent many people there, so it probably had. They brought out some new food and it was better, but there just werent many choices compared to other buffets Ive been to. There were some out of package cookies and stuff for desert, but they were all stale. No fortune cookie. Weird.

ABSOLUTLY disgusting was dissatisfied once before and gave them a second chance but this was the last just AWEFUL!!! ORDERED CHICKEN WINGS TASTED TERRIBLE LIKE BURNT OIL BUT THE WORT PART IS THE Chicken wings WERE BATTERED IN WELL I DINT KNOW WHAT IT WAS LIKE WHAT THE DEEP FRY SHRIMP IN batter WORST EXPERIENCE in my 49 years and I never complain.

This restaurant provides good quality Americanized Chinese food. Their soups are fresh tasting, they put whole dried chilis in their spicy items (Yeah!), dont use too much refined sugar, and are always putting free orders of Crab Rangoon in your delivery bag. Whats not to like about that?!?

Bit of a run down place, but my food was decent. I had moo goo gai pan dinner carry out (included fried rice, egg roll, fortune cookie, and sauce packets). $8.01 with tax. Very short walk from Methodist hospital capitol ave doors... One would think a good restaurant could thrive there.

Found a piece of metal scubber in my mi-fen (rice noodle). Imagine that piece of metal has probably scrubbed so many dirty dish and was in my mouth before I chewed it out. DISGUSTING. Not mentioning the taste of the dish and the garlic sauce chicken wings were no where near delicious.

Ordered the egg to young the gravy was the color or regular brown gravy. But absolutely no taste the pork fried rice was OK I guess if your hungry itll do.

Love this place. Fast delivery and huge portions. The fried rice dishes are some of the best Ive had. Hong Kong is my go to for Chinese food!
