I have to admit that I have driven by this place almost every day since it was built and quite frankly was just not interested in a "smokey bar". Since the law preventing smoking in any public forum went into effect though, and because a friend recently recommended it, we decide to try them out on Tuesdays "Bacon Wrapped Filet" special night. Wow.....for the money, the portions were quite adequate and the filet was cooked perfectly with a nice char on the outside and still pink and juicy on the inside. The house made Vinaigrette was fabulous. Only down side, its a true bar meaning no wine list so the house wine had to suffice to go with steaks, but it wasnt that bad when paired with food. Wouldnt call it a good sipping wine; but we remedied that situation with having a nice cocktail before dinner. The decor is quite eclectic with lots of teak wood and nautical themed nick knacks. The bar tender and wait staff were all very friendly and efficient. I could see this being a frequented establishment and its close enough to home to walk if over-served. :-)

It doesnt look like much from the outside but the decor inside is boathouse all the way. The server was friendly and helpful. We got our food quickly and I was so surprised at the amount of flavor in my grilled chicken sandwich! It was phenomenal and did not need any sauce at all. Also tried the house salad dressing, tomato vinaigrette, on my side salad-it was great. A little like marinara but a very good flavor. All in all a wonderful pleasant surprise of a lunch venue!

Love this place. Ive tried 90% of the menu and everything was amazing. Food and service is always great. However, theres not a lot of seats and they only have one table that seats more than 4. Also, its pretty narrow between tables. If youre a large American, like myself, be prepared to bump into people, but definitely worth it!

This is such a nice, homey place. The servers are always kind, the pours are generous (and reasonably priced) and the food is very affordable and cooked to order. They WILL stay open if its packed and an especially important playoff game is on the big screen and going past normal hours (they get it!).

Huge amount of food for the price. $15 gets you a nice sized smothered chicken breast, two sides, plus a soup or salad. Everything Ive had here is super tasty. Service is fairly quick. One-of-a-kind hole in the wall base. Outdoor seating is available during the warmer months. Free popcorn!!

Nautical themed quiet bar with a not-overwhelming number of TVs, excellent beers including some locals, and particularly wonderful Friday lunch special of Fish and Chips. Environment suitable for sit down with a friend or informal business meeting.

This place is one of my favorite spots to relax, eat and grab a drink! The staff if friendly and laid back and the atmosphere is rustic and sporty. To top it off theres a popcorn machine at the entrance! Perfect quick fix when Im hangry;)

So they have some very good food here. I love there bacon wrapped filet, and the italian beef. The gyro shown here was just ok. Also, quality craft beers on tap along with liquor specials make this the place to go in the neighborhood.

Dive bar...ordered the shrimp which was heavily battered along with the onion peel. And ordered the filet and mash. The filet was tough and the mash tasted like burnt bread. Wouldnt recommend. Probably just a beer but no food.

My favorite hangout. But when Its packed on Thursdays like it is tonight and only one waitress, service is slow. Ive learned to order my drinks two at a time. I should mention folks never served got up and left.
