The Chocolate Moose is a 50s style diner that serves burgers, chicken, pork tenderloins and a lot more. They also have shakes, ice cream and make old timey sodas and phosphates. Theres plenty of variety and the sandwiches are quite big. All the meat is locally sourced. The burgers are 1/3lb patties, the fries and chips are fresh cut to order. Theres lots of different things for kids to eat so no matter how picky your child is (mine is super picky), theres something theyll like. For about 8 dollars you cam get a 1/3lb cheeseburger, a big portion of fresh cut fries and a drink. And all of its far superior in taste and quality to a fast food joint. My personal favorite is the 50/50 burger, which is half bacon, half hamburger. My wife likes the Reuben and the chicken salad. And if course, the kids always go for the mac n cheese and the grilled cheese. Its well worth the drive up from Muncie.

My wife and I ate here a few weeks ago and had a great visit. Tonight was our second delicious meal here in a month. We have found a new favorite date night dinner spot! The menu is very large, including burgers, fries, soups, salads, and a wide variety of rich milkshakes. The restaurant has 50s decor and music. Service has been outstanding on both visits. Seating is comfortable and ample and the large front glass panes offer a great view of quaint downtown Farmland. We could come here for the steak fries, sweet potato fries, and shakes alone and be very happy, but the rest of the food on the menu is good and fresh too. We are looking forward to many future visits.

Five Star Service! The food is incredible, the breaded tenderloins are out of this world. If you go on Tuesday, you have the option of putting your phone in a basket on your table, if you refrain from using your phone throughout the meal, you get free *delicious* ice cream after your meal. They have "table conversation games" at each table to promote conversation. The waitress we had, could not have been any more attentive or helpful in understanding the menu.

The Chocolate Moose has been a family favorite since we moved to Farmland 8 years ago. Personally my favorite meal at the moose is their delicious Mushroom Swiss burger with homemade chips. They are also home to an award winning bacon double cheeseburger, the waitstaff is always friendly (no matter how busy they are), and I have never had a meal here that wasnt top notch!

Small town atmosphere, excellent food: hand dipped milk shakes served in old fashioned metal tins, sweet potato fries, homemade potato chips, outstanding hamburgers made to order fresh, and one of the best breaded tenderloins Ive ever had. Breaded then grilled! And very meaty, not pounded flat and all breading! Soups in season are God too. Highly recommend.

Just visited this place for the first time. Absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is great, but what really stood out was the service and the friendly staff. My server was very knowledgeable on the menu, and eager to help me with recommendations. The food was fantastic and tasted very homemade and fresh. Love the 50/50 burgers. I will be back!

Definitely best burger joint Ive ever been to! Every time we go, me and my dad get the double bacon cheeseburger and it is definitely a handful. Couldnt give a better review to any other place. I just wished I lived closer.
