We just visited this cafe for the first time. Was greeted by Page, who didnt say hello, come out from behind the bar to greet us. Instead, her first words were, "do you have reservations"? There were only 3 other tables with people at them. We were seated right near the bar on an isle table. Tons of empty tables.....we had to ask for our waters to be refilled at all times, well done requested burger was juicy, tomatoes were hard, she was not attentive at all...had to ask other waitress for help. So, if you go there, ask for KIM. She was the "other" waitress that was happy, attentive and smiled all the time. Stay away from Page.

Excellent cafe to visit if you are looking for a place to eat just outside of downtown Battle Creek. Addington Hills Cafe has a very elegant look to it. I had the salmon quiche and Mediterranean Flatbread and they were both amazing!! The entire staff exceeded expectations during my visit. A side note, which is always important to me was the cleanliness of the bathroom!!

Had reservations for 8 of us on Tuesday for lunch. Service was bad, waitress only came to our table to take drink and meal orders. Food (most of us got quiche, daily special) was barely warm and was dried out as if microwaved to long. Wont go back.

The food is incredible, the ambience is relaxing although a bit cramped, the service is excellent, the decor is unobtrusive. Go for the food, enjoy the wine list, relax in the comfortable surroundings.

Pasta eight days ago spent too much time under the heat lamps--arrived at table steaming on top, cold and congealing on the bottom.
