I would give it zero stars. I sent a group of hungry baseball players there at 4 oclock on a Friday afternoon. Nine people. They had an hour and 15 minutes for they had to report for next game. When they were seated their were two other tables. They order waited 45 MINUTES!!# The waitress finally brought out their food the people that got salad and potato were told that they did not have potatoes and they had to get soup. The only soup they had was clam cowder. Some people could not eat clam cowder. Tables had been seated after then gotten their food and left when the group finally got their checks. It took an hour and a half from getting seated to getting their checks!! When they ask for the manager he or she would not come out!! The cashier asked about their dinner when they told her she said that is want you get coming at this hour!! Four in afternoon!! WOW CRAWFORDSVILLE HAVE SOME CLASS! These people were from out of town and that is now want they will remember of your town!!

After reading the last two reviews, my husband and I were a bit hesitant to try this Cracker Barrel, but we decided to give it a go anyway. We were seated right away. We were greeted by a cheery, bubbly young waitress named Lacy, who met all of our needs in a timely fashion. The food was tasty. My husband had the Hadock with sides and corn bread and I had the grilled chicken salad. We topped it off with splitting the Coca Cola cake and ice cream. Even paying the bill was a breeze, with yet another friendly worker, Janet. We would definitely return to this Cracker Barrel. PS They even had a sign in the ladies restroom next to a stack of paper towels stating that the automatic paper towel dispenser was out of order due to the humidity and apologized for the inconvenience. To me, going the extra mile to inform the customers of something, no matter how large or small, goes a long way in my book!

In a mostly empty restaurant we were led to a table with a smashed bisquet all over the floor under my shoes. I kicked most of it out into the aisle so they could sweep it up and instead, the server left it there and just walked all over it the entire night. I tried to order the 2 sides clearly marked on the menu as part of the salad and the server told me that it didnt come with sides. He than came back and told me that he talked to the manager and they were going to have to change the menu to reflect his interpretation. We then waited 10 minutes for a takeout box. When the cashier asked how the meal was, I paused and said "interesting." She did not respond or ask for more information. Four employees in an hour who didnt care. Hopefully it was just a full moon.

It took almost 10 minutes for them to figure out who would be serve us. A half an hour to get our food. Half the orders were missing something. One of the ladies in our group pulled a hair out of her mouth from a bite of her hash browns. No manager would make eye contact with our table and havent tried to make anything right or even apologize. Extremely unprofessional. The two girls that finally got to serve us were very sweet and did their best to fix everything. Food was good. ** update** manager finally showed up and said sorry and that she had just arrived to work. Ok then. Were over it. Guess we should have checked the online review b4 picking this place. We wont be returning. Good luck to the next group!!

Normally i would give any cracker barrel a 5 star review however we were greeted with a group of people who were still in training and after an hour and a half had to walk out as we had still not received our food. The manager was apologetic and did give us a gift card, however that still does not take away the fact that they are letting untrained people attempt to serve customers when they do not fully know what they are doing yet. I will give them one more chance, and see how it goes, hopefully its better.

Staff ignored my family and I, so when we went to complain to the hostess after 30 minutes of staff walking by and not acknowledging us, they gave us a waitress who was super rude and snotty to us. The manager felt bad but everyone else was rude. The food was typical but honestly Ill never come back here because the staff was so rude and made me feel because the staff ignored me. They would walk by, look at my family and I, then continue walking. It was a terrible experience.

My husband and i go here on a regular basis. We typically have a great experience with good food and fairly fast service. There have been occasions where service was slow, but the restaurant was very busy during those times. On the one occasion where my food was not as ordered, management stepped in right away (without my request) and offered to make things right. If you have a larger group, you might want to call ahead so that the restaurant is able to serve you well.

My wife meal was just as ordered. However, mine wasnt even close. Pancakes were forgotten so when I got them they were still hot, but my eggs, grits, and bacon were cold. The bacon was turkey, which was supposed to be regular bacon, and sausage and sausage gravy for biscuits both had very little flavor. Not like any Cracker Barrel Ive been to before. I wont visit this one again.

It sucked we was sat down was sitting for 45min with no service then the waiter cam took r order and came out 25mins later came back and said they were out of what we order so then we order something different and it came out wrong will never be back the manager didnt even ask if he could fix anything the worst experience

Predictably good food. This location, however, seems perennially understaffed, and the server always start with an apology for taking 5 minutes or longer to get to your table. The restaurant is convenient to the interstate and not too far north of town, always seems busy, but needs better staffing.

The service in this place was horrible when it first opened, and we finally refused to go back for about a year. We finally went back again and the place is so much better now. The food was great and actually hot, and we got what we ordered this time. Now we will be able to go back!!

I love going to Cracker Barrel to buy and keep things they have in there we have a variety of little of everything so I love going to shop there again and I so love to go for breakfast I recommend you out to go there they have so many things besides I have a lot of items

Been to lots of Cracker Barrels over the years, and always enjoyed it till now. The help was good, but the food was lacking. Some was ill prepared and most was cold when served. I have been in the service industry for many years, and this was a very poor showing.
