I love the Orient Cafe!!! For years we would make the drive to The Pagoda House in Lockport for my fathers birthday until it shut its doors a few months ago and we had to find a new tradition. Thank goodness we read The Pagoda House website that directed us to come to the Orient Cafe which is only a few miles farther for us. The food was ever bit as good as Pagoda and in some ways, it was better!! Sue took great care of my family and I! This will be our new home for dads birthday dinner. You cannot tell from the outside how much of a gem this place truly is! The people of Homer Glen are very lucky to have this right in their own back yard!!

Not only is this place immaculate, but it has very good food. The fried rice, sweet/sour chicken and egg foo young are perfect. Everyone has their own preference regarding egg rolls, and although I prefer mine more savory, theirs is a bit on the sweet side, but nonetheless very good. Additionally, they have a liquor license, so you can enjoy a mai tai or glass of wine with your meal. The owners and staff are extremely nice as well. This is the best place to get quality chinese food in the Homer/Orland/Lemont/Lockport/Palos areas hands down...especially since Lang Lee closed in Orland Park. You wont be sorry!

Food and owner sucks.... they gave me the wrong order and then said I had the right order.... I told her I was looking at it....and its wrong....her response was Im not telling her the truth... Never mind they gave me the wrong order... In turn she hangs up on me ...... Never Never order food it is terrible.... I know I wont....and neither will my daughter.... Im not a little kid you can push around... Im a grown woman... I know people make mistakes but at least admit it ...... And say sorry what can I do to make it right.... but No She basically called me a liar....

Eating Chinese food throughout the world, my favorite was always Lang Lees in Orland Park. When it was announced to be closed, I started trying other Chinese restaurants in the area. I found Orient Cafe the best and it has become my go to place for great Chinese food ever since. Ive been there about 50 times and can only believe that Vicki Enright doesnt know what good Chinese food should taste like

Very good food. But unfortunately our favorite waitress Courtney, now longer works there. She was an amazing waitress . She made people feel like home. She was very PROFESSIONAL with every customer. Everyone loved her and made sure when they came in they would ask for her to serve them.She will be missed . ORIENTAL CAFE YOU LOST THE BEST WAITRESS YOU EVER HAD. HOW SAD. .

Excellent food! It is hard to find Chinese food that is this good and stands out. You can tell that they make the food fresh and use the best ingredients. They are true to their own recipes. So glad we found this place after Lang Lees in Orland closed down.

Service was speedy Had the beef fried rice on Saturday and the food was good. Had some leftovers on Sunday and was sick all night. I didnt think it was the food. Ate it again on Tuesday night and got sick again, DEFINATELY THE FOOD. Stay away.

We Ordered takeout. Food was ready in less then 30 minutes. Food was great! Best in the area for sure. Not easily seen from the street, only found online. Definitely need to try this place if youre in or from the area.
