The food is excellent. I live nearby and now have had several of the fish dishes, many of the appetizers and sides, pasta, and pizza, and so far, nothing has been anything less than great. The whitefish was a real standout, and all the vegetables, both with the entrees, and in appetizers and sides have been particularly amazing. Ive had extremely good service, and either the owner or a manager always stops by to see how everything is, even when its incredibly busy. Merlos is a gem. Highly recommended.

So many excellent dishes, all the way from salads to appetizers to entrees to deserts. Nannas gravy, chicken parmesan, veal marsala, eggplant paremesan, pizzas that are especially delicious... So many to name. So yummy

Dont overlook the pizza when visiting. excellent sauce and thin crust. Limited to 12" size and no, you cant divide the pie in half for toppings but the price is right for you to take some home with you.

A great place. I dont usually like eating outside, but I do here. Lovely for summer evenings. Brussel sprouts appetizer is wonderful, and all the pasta dishes are great.
